In the upper Valtournenche, at the foot of the Matterhorn, surrounded by herds of grazing cows in summer and white snow in the winter months, my wife Enrica and I will be happy to welcome our guests to our apartment. Close to the towns of Valtournenche and Cervinia (about 3 km) but still isolated from the chaos, it is the ideal place to relax, observe enchanting views, listen to the silence of the mountain, play sports and take fantastic walks starting right from the house!

Our renovated studio is centrally located, 5-10 minutes' walk from Zermatt train station. Climbing the stairs to the house (90 steps) is always worth it, because the accommodation is characterized by a lot of brightness and a view of the village. In addition to a fully equipped kitchen, the apartment is equipped with a bathtub, a cozy sitting area and a 1.80 m bed. A TV with Apple TV box and free Wi-Fi are available, as well as a lockable ski storage room.

“Méquio” in patois means “home”. This apartment has been our home for over 10 years and it is here that we have seen our daughter grow. We want to make our guests feel like they are on holiday, welcoming them in a typical mountain setting (exposed beams, stone fireplace, wooden attic, etc.) but at the same time we want to offer them the comfort and above all the warmth of a "real home". The property is ideal for 2/3 people.
