Charming typical Basque country house. Small garden and very pleasant terrace. The house is well equipped and is only 10 minutes' walk from the centre of St Jean Pied de Port. Margot is very responsive and helpful. Very good stay.

What a wonderful experience. We loved the house, everything was as advertised and more. Great space , very well equipped and immaculately clean. One of the best Airbnb's we have stayed in. Miren was an excellent host, so helpful and left some fresh eggs and local jam for us to try. She even organised a new hob for the cooker as it was damaged. Wonderful service. Of course the surrounding countryside is the big attraction. Just beautiful. Highly recommended. We will definitely return

This house is beautiful. It is a gracious, older home with high ceilings, wood floors, and a beautiful staircase. The house was well-furnished with modern pieces accenting the traditional spaces. The whole house felt spacious and airy. The garden is lovely. One of the things not mentioned in the listing is that the back garden gate opens up to a beautiful park overlooking the river. On our first morning, we went out and just started walking. The path leads to a walk that goes around the walls of the old city. It was a slightly rainy day, so the walk was misty and had a romantic feeling. The check-in was also wonderful. The owner’s daughters were there when we arrived. They were, kind, hospitable, and told us all that we needed to know about the house. It was nice to receive a warm welcome. The house is within easy walking distance to the main plaza, the old town, and most of the sites one would want to see. Perfect! Thank you, Ignacio!

We only stayed here for a few days, but we felt very comfortable right away. The communication was very friendly and Rodrigo is a very helpful landlord. What a joy to find yourself in a cottage located in the heart of the Baïgorry valley. Josette and her husband welcomed us wonderfully and let us enjoy their wonderful home. We had a dream weekend, the area is beautiful and the cottage is very convenient and has incredible outdoor views of the valley. Highly recommended without moderation, a future weekend in the Basque Country!

There were 6 of us and the house was wonderful, the best Airbnb I've stayed in so far and more for the price. Spacious house, modern, cozy and with impeccable decoration. Very well equipped with more than necessary to be very comfortable. The patio area is very good and we even had a barbecue. I would definitely stay here again. My stay at Olivier's apartment was made very enjoyable through the actions, accessibility and care of his concierge, Chrystelle. She was friendly, helpful and proactive, checking that everything was ok.

Edurne treated us great from the beginning. Super easy to communicate with her, the house is beautiful, with paintings made by her father! If we go back to Pamplona, we'd definitely stay here again!

The stay at Patricia's went very well. The accommodation is faithful to the description, very well located and the pool is a big plus, with this hot weather. We highly recommend Patricia, if you want to stop and visit the area.

What a fantastic find! A very simple but perfect escape in the countryside, complete with goats, chickens and a few working cats. We spent two lovely weeks in this serene location and didn’t want to leave! Every cell in our bodies was relaxed and recharged. We especially loved the melody of the cow bells as we relaxed in the backyard and the ability to cool off in the lovely dipping pool when the temperatures soared. If you need a complete escape to nature, this is your place! And there are scores of nearby villages and locations to hike and enjoy. We hope to be back again next year—thank you so much for everything!!

The accommodation was in all respects consistent with the photos and description. The kitchen area is very well laid out and the kitchen is very well equipped. The accommodation is very clean. The possibility of walking to the centre of the village is very convenient. The residence has a beautiful pool area that was closed when we were there but must be nice in season. The only small downside perhaps in high season is the small road that separates the residence in two and which may perhaps present noise pollution but this was not the case in May. We recommend this accommodation for visiting Saint Jean Pied de Port and its beautiful region.

Home sweet home

Miguel Angel was a magnificent host. He was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. He was very welcoming and warm upon check-in. The apartment is spacious, clean, and well-kept. It was also easy to get into the main downtown area by walking from this location. Overall, it was a great stay.

I checked in on foot from the bus terminal.It was such a great stay.There was a living room and the living space was spacious, there were many bars and restaurants around, and it was conveniently close to sightseeing spots.Miguel was very kind and attentive to inquiries.

We were great. The flat had all kinds of amenities, even a lot more than we expected. A very quiet area. Everything was very clean, it looked like freshly renovated. Contact with Xabier has been fluid and friendly at all times. Totally recommended.

The accommodation and its hosts, exceptional. The house offers many possibilities to enjoy the outdoors, games and exceptional habitability and comfort. It's worth spending enough time to enjoy both the house and the surroundings. The hosts are attentive at all times, very kind and knowledgeable about the area to be able to make visits, excursions...
