Our newly built, modern cabin offers a secluded and relaxing retreat in Union, Maine. With the high ceilings, open floor plan, and many windows, guests are surrounded by natural light and forest views. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy fireplace, and an outdoor grill and fire pit. Walking trails connect the cabin to our farm next door, where you can visit with our horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and ducks. We are just 25 minutes from the Midcoast's shops, restaurants, and beaches.

Less than a mile from Lake St. George Brewing Company, John’s Ice Cream, and Lori’s Café, the state park and boat launch is also less than three miles away. First floor has 1 bedroom (queen bed), a full bathroom, full kitchen with all essentials, and utility room with a washer and a dryer. The second floor has a half bath and three bedrooms (king, and two queen beds).

With over 200’ of private shorefront on beautiful Lake St. George, you can welcome the day with the sunrise and a cup of coffee. Swimming or just relaxing are surely some pastimes you’ll want to include, but if you want to go for a paddle on the lake, there are kayaks, a paddle board, and a pedal boat available. Smart TV, Wifi are here. You can also sit by the fire pit and enjoy the view.

It is located just 2/10 of a mile from the village center where the general store, library and town offices are located. Easy commute east to the coast and the must-see towns of Rockland, Rockport and Camden or west to our capitol, Augusta. One hour and forty minutes to Bar Harbor and Acadia national park.

Beautiful four-season waterfront cottage located on the outskirts of Augusta. The main living space has a full kitchen, living room/dining space, bathroom with laundry, and bedroom (queen bed). The walk-out basement, with its own bathroom, offers a cabin-style space to lounge in or as a second bedroom. Or stay outside and enjoy the water views from the second-story deck or ground-level fire pit. Either spot is an amazing place to enjoy the night sky and listen to the loons and eagles!

Halcyon Ridge is owned by Lynn & Chuck Hadyniak, who live nearby. Lynn & Chuck moved out of New Jersey years ago to get away from the hustle & bustle, & raise a family in peace. They love Freedom for its quiet & natural beauty, & would love to host people at Halcyon Ridge who also want to escape the noise. Stargazers will be delighted: low humidity, expansive view of the southeastern sky, & next to no light pollution, make for wonderful viewing. Rest. Relax. Recharge.

BREEZE, in a tree The Appleton Retreat

BREEZE Treehouse, at The Appleton Retreat is located on 120 acres of private land, bordered by 1,300 acres of a protected nature conservancy. To the south is the Pettengill Stream a resource protected area and to the north a large secluded pond. BREEZE does not have a hot tub but guests may reserve the sauna, which is close by and private. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.

Enjoy a one mile walk or drive to our local Lake St. George Brew Company, John's ice cream and Lori's café. Lake St. George State Park and public boat launch are just a half mile on Route 3. Scenic Belfast is only 18 miles down the road. The Five star housekeeping is completed by local Lake St. George Property Maintenance.
