Our newly built, modern cabin offers a secluded and relaxing retreat in Union, Maine. With the high ceilings, open floor plan, and many windows, guests are surrounded by natural light and forest views. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy fireplace, and an outdoor grill and fire pit. Walking trails connect the cabin to our farm next door, where you can visit with our horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and ducks. We are just 25 minutes from the Midcoast's shops, restaurants, and beaches.

Less than a mile from Lake St. George Brewing Company, John’s Ice Cream, and Lori’s Café, the state park and boat launch is also less than three miles away. First floor has 1 bedroom (queen bed), a full bathroom, full kitchen with all essentials, and utility room with a washer and a dryer. The second floor has a half bath and three bedrooms (king, and two queen beds).

With over 200’ of private shorefront on beautiful Lake St. George, you can welcome the day with the sunrise and a cup of coffee. Swimming or just relaxing are surely some pastimes you’ll want to include, but if you want to go for a paddle on the lake, there are kayaks, a paddle board, and a pedal boat available. Silver Moon at The Appleton Retreat is quite private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt features a private therapeutic hot tub on the wrap around deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. Silver Moon is located in a wooded area close to a bog that attracts a variety of wildlife. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

Halcyon Ridge is owned by Lynn & Chuck Hadyniak, who live nearby. Lynn & Chuck moved out of New Jersey years ago to get away from the hustle & bustle, & raise a family in peace. They love Freedom for its quiet & natural beauty, & would love to host people at Halcyon Ridge who also want to escape the noise. Stargazers will be delighted: low humidity, expansive view of the southeastern sky, & next to no light pollution, make for wonderful viewing. Rest. Relax. Recharge.

Nestled in 6 acres is the secluded Mountain side cedar cabin. Breweries nearby, Hiking, lakes, and Fishing. If Sasquatch is booked, check Bigfoot Retreat 150 foot away. Master bedroom /main level is separate from loft quarters upstairs. Custom built cabin all cedar inside with a cozy bedroom on the main level. Loft has 2 twin beds and a pull out couch. Lower level has a full bathroom with tiled shower. The cabin is on a Private road at the top of Coon mountain .
