High Mountain Stone Cottage in the Cederberg

Surely the highest cottage, at 1200m altitude, in the Cederberg with spectacular views of the Koue Bokkeveld and the Cederberg. It is set against a mountain peak surrounded by pristine Cape flora. A place of retreat and deep silence. The cottage, with its beautiful woodwork and stonework, belongs to another era. I have decided to rent out my personal farm house\ guest house to happy road trippers seeking solitude and a peaceful surrounding. The house is within a valley surrounded by 48 hectares of open land,beautiful mountain (cederberg) backdrops and a river with three natural swimming areas within walking distance of the guest house and the place include a 25m lap pool right in front of the veranda! Oh and plenty of clean breathable air :). There is one full sized bed so its best suited for couples.

It extends up the eastern slopes of the Cederberg Mountains where it shares a fence-free boundary with the protected Cederberg Wilderness Area. Perfect for boulderers, or anyone wishing to enjoy the beauty of the Cederberg or just to enjoy the peace and quiet. The owners live in a Studio apartment at the back part of the house. They have a separate entrance. While guests will almost be unaware of their presence they are always available to give advice or answer questions.

But not for 5 or 6 adults.) This eco-friendly setting of simplicity set in style, is nestled against the Cederberg Mountains. It is a nature lovers dream, ideally situated for hiking/cycling, bouldering/climbing, spectacular views, photography, romance and peace.
