Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Pakefield

Dunwich is a beautiful seaside village with an interesting history. Beach was good (by North Sea standards but be sure to either have feet like old boots or preferably a pair of swimming shoes. The house is perfect for a family get as ours was with grandparents, maiden aunts, youngish couple and a toddler. Everything you could need and more.

This cottage is just so peaceful in beautiful surroundings. Within a short drive you can be in the Norfolk Broads or any of the local beaches, from Great Yarmouth down to Aldeburgh. For dog owners I would recommend Kessingland. It's just such a lovely stroll and surprisingly not busy. Dogs are welcome on the beach all year round here. Dave is a really friendly chap and I'm sure if we had had any problems at all with the cottage he would have been there to help out, but the cottage was faultless. Just a lovely quiet place, surrounded by fields. If we visit Suffolk again I will definitely see if this cottage is available. It's so relaxing here. What a hidden gem!

We stayed here as 5 adults and a baby, it was the absolutely perfect space for us. Sarah and Ed were great hosts with helpful recommendations and very responsive. Very quiet peaceful location only a short drive from many of Suffolk’s beauty spots. Highly recommend.

Great find! Was really impressed with this place and it was perfect for what we needed for the weekend. Had everything you could think of, even toys and games for children, as well as a complimentary basket of goodies for us when we arrived! We enjoyed the juke box the most and listened to lots of songs on there! The house fitted 7 of us comfortably and was very clean! Lee was very proactive and ensured we had a great stay - thank you!

This was the 2nd time we stayed at Little Tern and we loved it just as much as the first time. Little Tern is a lovely property and perfect for us as just a ten minute walk to the beach. It is a homely property and has everything you need. It’s lovely and clean and plenty of space. Great bathrooms and great bedrooms. We can’t wait to come back again and stay.

This was a lovely and comfortable home for the 3 of us. Best part was the incredible outdoor garden and terrace. We enjoyed the games and books provided too. It was quiet and peaceful. Hannah was very friendly and responsive. Overall a great stay. One word of caution - the road passes very close by the front door, so it’s best to be very careful when exiting (especially for those who normally look left for traffic).

We booked Oak Barn to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary with all the family. We were blessed with a long weekend of beautiful weather. In fact it was so nice that we ate nearly all our meals al fresco in the garden which was fully enclosed meaning that our two dogs could wander in and out of the house. Rosie thoughtfully messaged us when we arrived to give us pointers on how to keep the house cool. The Barn is spacious and spotlessly clean with quality bed linen, towels and toiletries provided. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The layout in the house is perfect for extended or multigenerational families. It’s situated in a quiet country lane but within a few minutes you can be in Wroxham and the coast within half an hour. There was an excellent house manual with lots of suggestions for things to do but the weather was so warm that we tended to stay fairly local. All in all this was one of the best properties we have stayed in.

We had the most amazing stay. The house was perfect in every way. Penny was fantastic and couldn't help us enough. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

We had a great week in this bright and cosy holiday Chalet. The advertising photos in my opinion show it for exactly what it is. The accommodation had everything we needed from a well stocked kitchen to comfortable beds. We had some lovely warm sunny weather whilst we were there for the week so it was in a great location for coastal runs/walks and nice beaches not far. The White Horse Inn was also an added bonus just a stones throw away, with descent pub grub. We also used the Chinese takeaway next to the pub which was very satisfying. We are a family of four with a 15 year old son and 11 year old daughter and we would all recommend this chalet and location if you enjoy a peaceful environment with lots to do without having to travel too far. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We had a lovely couple of nights here. James was great and responded quickly, the house was clean and felt like home, the beds were really comfy too! It’s a great location, the bar on site served delicious food and lots of places nearby to explore. We will be back!

Chalet is fantastic – highly recommended! The chalet is the perfect size for four people – we were a group of three this time, so it felt especially spacious. The site is peaceful, with friendly and quiet neighbours, which made for a very relaxing stay. The marina is just a two-minute walk away and is absolutely beautiful. There are plenty of beaches within a short drive, and a great selection of restaurants all within easy walking distance. Dennis is a fantastic host – warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

If you read the visiters book you will see that this is superb.....could go on and on about how good this is,in every detail...You will have no regrets....thankyou Janice

We booked a few nights away, very well kept and clean chalet. Hosts were very attentive to any messages or questions we had. Made our weekend very enjoyable and we will be booking again

This is by far the nicest Caravan we have stayed in. Was immaculate and so well looked after and cared for. Such great facilities inside. Kitchen had every thing we needed. There were toys for the children which they loved and appreciated!! Story books for bedtime. The beds were super comfy. The hosts are just wonderful. Such kind, lovely people. Responsive and told us everything we needed to know. The welcome hamper was so helpful with little tummies hungry when we arrived!! And a glass of something cold for parents too, THANK YOU!! We followed advice about visiting the local beach and had a really great day!! We cannot wait to go back!! 5* - and more if we could xx

We were originally meant to stay at a holiday park in kessingland, but upon finding out we needed to bring our own bed linen and no wifi we decided to look elsewhere and found Kate and Dereks chalet instead, and so glad we did! It was spotless! They have everything you could possibly need, and I appreciated the selection of glassware as you don’t normally come across red and white wine glasses in an Airbnb. The kingside bed was super comfy all round. The balcony is enclosed so this was handy for the dogs. We didn’t use any facilities at the park but you can reach the local nature reserve on foot in 15 mins and found this convenient for EV charging (available at the site but bit more expensive). Kate and Derek were very friendly and responsive when required

We had a fabulous stay at this lovely bungalow. Corin is a great host and was very accommodating with our requests. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. Great location, very peaceful area. Beds and sofas very comfy and very well equipped kitchen. We hope to return soon.

Had a great long weekend at the house. So easy to walk to the beach each day and local pub was also great for food.

Stayed here before at Christmas and loved it. Stayed again and still just as amazing as the first time. Justyna was incredibly friendly and has a great little place. Will definitely be staying again

Beautiful cottage, looked just like the pictures and much more spacious once we got inside. Lovely garden and the hot tub was a bonus. Our dog loved sunbathing on the grass outside and had loads of nature reserves dotted around for us to visit and take the dog on a walk. 10/10 would definitely recommend

Fantastic! Great chalet, everything needed to make our stay comfortable. Spotlessly clean throughout, quality bed linen & towels. Attention to detail by Julie is outstanding. Even a selection of board games if the weather isn't great. Choice of games, chairs & stuff for the beach. Coffee, tea & milk on arrival. As requested the chocolate cake was divine. This is the second time we have stayed at this property and loved it has much has the last. We will be returning later in the year and would highly recommend the property and location. Dale was the perfect host and the property was immaculate. Thank you Dale for a lovely weekend!
