We stayed at Doyoung’s hanok in Bukchon Village for 10 days after two weeks of travel, hoping for a home-like atmosphere where we could cook and reset. While the hanok was beautiful and well-located, the kitchen was missing a few essentials and there were no instructions for how to use appliances—all of which were labeled in Korean. Once we reached out, Doyoung went above and beyond to make things right. He responded incredibly quickly, brought us pastries and flowers to brighten our stay, and even created a neatly designed instruction booklet with photos—impeccably done and completed so fast, we honestly hope he didn’t stay up all night making it! Bukchon Village is a wonderful area—central, walkable, and full of charm. And Doyoung is truly one of the kindest, most responsive hosts we’ve ever had. Despite the initial hiccups, we left feeling incredibly well cared for. Thank you, Doyoung!

Was very cute and cozy. The location was nice as it was close to restaurants and convenient stores. It was also close to the train station which was convenient as we travelled to other places. Was a bit noisy but not that much as i got great sleep while staying! The owner was very responsive and friendly whenever i had questions! Recommended!!

On our trip to Seoul, we sought out a traditional Hanok guesthouse, as it’s a rare opportunity for our dog to travel from China to Korea. We feel incredibly fortunate to have stayed in such an exceptional guesthouse! The house and courtyard are designed with exquisite taste, seamlessly blending traditional and modern elements. The space is spotlessly clean, offering utmost comfort, and everything feels just right! The host and property manager are warm, welcoming, and attentive, quickly addressing any concerns. From before our arrival to throughout our stay, they went out of their way to provide thoughtful and caring service. Thank you for making our Seoul trip truly memorable. We wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse to everyone!

Even though it was a basement, it was pleasant, cozy, and tidy.

I loved my stay here! As a foreigner, I found the instructions very clear. The main entrance is located on a major street, very close to a bus stop/subway stop, so the location is very convenient. It is close to the Bangi Dong Food Alley, Lotte World Mall/Seokcheon Lake Park, and Olympic Park! It was a comfortable stay with multiple amenities to make you feel comfortable. There was a bit of construction across the street in the mornings/afternoons, but overall the area is relatively quiet. I was a bit worried about sorting trash (Korea is very particular about that), but I had lots of help from the host, and nearby uncles! Would love to stay here again!

The room condition, as well as the toiletries, bedding, and tableware, were all clean and well-equipped, so it was pleasant and nice to use. We had a great stay for 2 nights and 3 days as a big family!

Overall, everything was good (location.Cleanliness, etc.) I'll visit again next time.

Such a kind and lovely host. Nice clean place just like it was described. 3x bathrooms were very convenient for our family. We have had a wonderful time. Not the most convenient location for commuting but very peaceful and full of clean air..young kids enjoyed country lifestyle. . waking up to crow of the roosters. . playing with the two dogs and watching kittens. . even caught a tree frog (we let it go) .. . Overall good value for money.

The accommodation was really clean, and I liked the curtains, and I rested so comfortably before leaving!!! The bedding and everything was so neat, so it was so nice. I want to come again next time.👍👍👍

It was a trip for 6 people, but all 6 people said that the accommodation was so nice and that they wanted to come again next time. Haha. I didn't use the swimming pool because of the weather, but I want to use the swimming pool next time.

The view is really nice and it's really clean. Like the reviews, it's at the top, so I'm a little worried about parking, but it's not that scary because it's just hard. I had a really good time with my family. I'll have to come with my acquaintances next time.

It was always nice to get a response around 10 minutes.The pool was by no means wide, but it was vertical, and there were few users, so it was spacious enough for children to play with.Everyone was hungry, so I quickly adjusted the barbecue time, but they handled it well.The response from the host and the employees (wife) was very good.I also enjoyed the scent of the bonfire, and the Northern Lights effect continued for a long time, and the children remained busy for a long time.I was happy to be able to use it for free.The beach was far away, but the pool was comfortable, so there was no inconvenience at all.As an aside, other guests were also well-behaved, so it was helpful.

I was surprised that the view was better than the photos. I liked it the most among the West Sea accommodations. I liked that the quality of disposables and the cleanliness of the bathroom were high!

Very accessible. Bus stop was right outside the airbnb and subway was a 5 min walk away. Room was slightly small but has everything you need.

The accommodation was always the biggest concern when traveling with my mother, but I didn't even worry about the time difference and booked this accommodation right away.🥰 The interior is really as beautiful as the photos, and I especially liked the kitchen and the multi-purpose room! There's also a kotatsu, so I think I'll have to visit again in the winter. Both bathrooms were clean, so I spent 2 nights and 3 days really pleasantly ~ I thought it would be a shame to stay only one night, so I booked another day because of the accommodation, but I think I did really well I could feel the sensibility and delicacy in the accommodation guide, which included the travel course for Ganghwa-do and recommended restaurants. Thanks to you, I'm leaving with only good memories!!! If you're planning a trip to Ganghwa, don't worry and really recommend it.🤭🤭

It was the perfect place to meet 6 friends for the first time in a while and spend time just for us. Kitchen utensils, bedding, and toilets were all clean, and I enjoyed it comfortably and safely because you prepared a barbecue kit. The surrounding environment was also quiet and leisurely. I want to revisit in a good season.

It is a clean and charmingly decorated accommodation. The transportation was good, and it was located in a quiet neighborhood, so I rested well.

Children's Day holiday is too long, so I thought I would spend all the time on the road to go far away, and the accommodation cost was too much. I chose it because I wanted to rest somewhere close to home, and I think it was a good choice. It was a little disappointing that I couldn't have a barbecue because my husband couldn't come with me because something came up, but the kids were able to run around, play catch, hide and seek, and plant various seedlings. We took a short walk on the upper road and met frogs, snails, and toads. The tableware was stainless steel in a clean condition, so it was good to use, the toilet hygiene was good, and there were a lot of board games, so I was able to play with the kids often. I ate early in the evening and was hungry, so I ordered chicken delivery. When I slept, I turned the mat to a low temperature and slept, but it was just right. The bedding was also in good sanitary condition. I think the first one, who was curious, may have been uncomfortable because he looked around everywhere. I was so grateful that you spoke to the children in a friendly manner and let them experience the prayer for the unborn, which they could not do in their daily lives. I'd love to join the harvest when I get the chance.

We stayed for 5 nights. Bob was very helpful in guiding us to the room when we checked in. I liked how there was a little guide book on how to navigate the tv, washing machine and waste separation. The room was cosy & spacious enough for 2 people with luggages. The amenities provided was really good and the place was clean. The location is near the Line 1 train station - so it is very accessible. We would love to stay here again the next time we visit Seoul!

Location was perfect and the curated book of restaurants and places to eat in Hongdae was very thoughtful! Many great suggestions! Hosts were very communicative and accomodating of my family of 5, including one baby. Would definitely stay here again!
