Kaukosa is home to the famous Särestöniemi Art Museum. At Villa Magia, you can admire ceramics, unique clothes, and jewelry. In early June, Kaukos hosts the Silence Festival. Near Yllästunturi, Lainio has Snow Village, a snow village and hotel. The distance from the property is 40 km (35 min) to Levitunturi, 26 km to Yllästunturi and 20 km to Snow Village.

The nearest service centers are Muonio (25km) and Levi (35km)

Lappee, on the shore of Tornionjoki

A fisherman, a wilderness, or just a haven for a peaceful place! This home is located in Kolari, the village of Lappea. Lappea is known as the fishermen's cove. Inside, you'll find a living room with a large stone fireplace, a bunk bed and a couch, a well-equipped kitchen-living room, and an open bedroom with a double bed. There is also a sauna with a wood stove. There is an open lean-to in the outdoor spaces.
