Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lahti

Wow, what a beautiful location. And such a lovely house. There was a an original sauna on the lake which allowed us a true Finnish experience. Elina was the perfect host. She was always responsive and keen to ensure we had a great time. Anyone booking this place will not be disappointed. We will be returning- maybe when there is snow on the ground. Thank you very much.

Beautiful "alpine village" in the middle of the slopes. The cottage was just right and well-equipped for a group of friends's trip.

Beautiful house and yard. Everything has been carefully designed and implemented. The decor was cozy and the family of 5 was a great fit. The sauna was great. The beach is really shallow, but it has a pleasant sandy bottom. There are good sports facilities nearby.

The stay met our needs brilliantly. Guests included two dogs who enjoyed the outdoors in the fenced-in yard. The youngest guest was a 5-month-old baby with a travel crib ready. There was also plenty of level space in the bathroom, and the changing of the mantle went smoothly. I'm sure we'll book a stay again if we're on the go with a larger group of people.

We had a very relaxing stay in this house surrounded by nature. The accommodation was very well equipped and tidy. The location is ideal if you want to spend a quiet stay in Finnish nature as there are no neighbors. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming. A little favorite for the wood-fired sauna located in an outbuilding of the house, which was very spacious.

Great host, great place, calm, like at home. The sauna was outstanding, the best in-home sauna we have tried.

We had a fantastic summer vacation in this lovely and comfortable lakeside cottage. The pier terrace is ideal and the house comes with everything you need in a beautiful setting. The second guest house is also a very nice plus. Seppo and Tarja were charming and thoughtful hosts at all times. Thank you for everything! Highly recommended.

Fantastic home and lovely area

Juha, is very flexible and friendly. Everything went as expected and the location very comfortable. The Sauna was fantastic and there were convenience stores close to the location.

A very pleasant place to stay for a family of four for the weekend. The homey vibe and the traces of a host's life are shared in a positive way to guests. Everything worked and the apartment felt like your own home for a little while. Parking in your own canopy in front of the front door was easy, as well as a quick (car)trip to the Lahti Great Hall, where we continuously do business during the stay. As an option for road travel, a bus stop next to the accommodation and additionally a pleasant walking environment towards the center, as a milestone is also a city bike station a short walk away.

Nice and tidy apartment on a quiet street within walking distance of downtown. It's easy to find a spot for the car right in front of the house. The apartment had all the necessary dishes and the dishes and other things new and very clean. Very good bed and quiet house for a good night's sleep. Juha was very flexible and responsive to messages! Strong recommendation!

Great place to stay in Lahti!

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house , very good location and beautiful well maintained grounds . We also liked the private area near the lake , the pier , the new sauna, everything matches the description and the house is very comfortable . There is everything you need . Also, Hannah and Katya responded very quickly to our requests and questions. We would love to come back again !

Stayed there for 2 nights, I felt like the place is better than how it’s in the pictures. Sole was a very nice, communicative & very proactive. Just had a great time there.

Great leave! It's the second time we've been a guest in Kolonkolo, and there's no reason not to continue spending time here in a great place.

As described, the house sits alone on a peninsula in the lake. The last 3 km lead via a forest path (easily accessible by car). The property offers ample space for activities of all kinds. Game and sports equipment is available but partly already heavily used. The house and other buildings are very nice and well appointed. Description and illustrated instructions for all devices are present. Everything works and there were no problems at all. Wi-Fi Internet is available and sufficient but not particularly fast. If several people want to stream, it's not enough. Outside Wi-Fi is available according to the description but did not work during our visit. A private jetty leads to the beautiful, clear lake. The boat is large enough for 4 people Only the provided (paid) motor is somewhat undersized. Rowing is sometimes faster😁. Overall a wonderful stay in the Finnish forest.

A great place to relax. A beautiful setting right next to the lake- we enjoyed using the rowing boat, swimming and using the suana- absolutely delightful! Public transport very infrequent, but fine with a car. Would definitely recommend!

The perfect location for an extended family get-together. Really spacious accommodation with fantastic views through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Everyone particularly enjoyed the wood-burning sauna, swimming and boating in the lake and playing tennis on the private tennis court. Incredibly peaceful. No noise disturbance at all. Really good for bird-spotting while looking out across the lake. Sunsets were also spectacular!

Stayed there for Easter and was a great choice! Very spacious, great scenery and very good view from the sauna by the lake.

Pia and Matti went above and beyond to make out family feel welcome. The place is really spacious and worked perfectly for our extended family. The house feels like a home immediately as you step in. The uninterrupted lake view, 2 x saunas and a very nice TV room with a woodburner/fireplace make it a great stay in the winter as well. Simply a Five Star place with very nice hosts.
