Pfeifer Hunting Lodge

The house offers 2 separate apartments. Your accommodation is on the entire ground floor of the house and offers about 80 m² of space for up to 4 people (up to 6 people on request). The accommodation has two separate bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room with a sofa bed, a small balcony, and a modern bathroom with a toilet. There is also a charming, rustic bathroom with a bathtub, perfect for relaxing after a day in the forest. In front of the house, there are free parking spaces. There is also a private, fenced garden with seating where you can relax outdoors. You can enjoy a glass of wine while looking out at the landscape, as the setting sun turns everything into a warm, golden light. If you need extra space, we can also offer a cellar room for storing bicycles, ski equipment, or other things. My partner and I live on the upper floor, so the entire ground floor is exclusively for the guests. However, we are available to assist if guests need anything during their stay. Other important information: The property, which is about 15,000 m², is mostly covered by forest, perfect for relaxing and exploring. In the meadows to the south and west, cows graze regularly. During some seasons, you can also see horses on the neighboring property. This natural setting creates a peaceful atmosphere and is perfect for anyone who loves the beauty of rural landscapes. The small village of Preitenegg is located at just over 1,000 meters above sea level in the Carinthian Alps, near the border with Styria. It is a peaceful and relaxing place. The village has a supermarket, a bank, and a cozy inn, so you can find everything you need for daily life close by. In spring, summer, and autumn, the region is great for hiking. In winter, you can go cross-country skiing on the nearby Hebalm (about 10 minutes by car) or ski in nearby ski resorts, like the Klippitztörl ski area (about 30 minutes by car). For a refreshing swim, you can visit the Packer Stausee (15 minutes by car) or the Hebalmsee (10 minutes by car). The Wörthersee is also about an hour away by car. Additionally, the Red Bull Ring and the AirPower site, both about 50 minutes by car, are nearby and offer exciting activities. The Red Bull Ring is famous for Formula 1 races and other motorsport events. The cities of Graz and Klagenfurt are each about an hour away by car.

Apartment (up to 5 people) with balcony

This apartment is located on the 2nd floor / elevator. It has a bedroom with a vanity. Shower & toilet can be reached from the small anteroom. The balcony room has seating for 4 people, a kitchenette and also 2 single beds. The balcony is on the sunny side and you have a wonderful view of the Modriacher Kircherl! Each room is equipped with a small refrigerator. At the hotel entrance there is now a vending machine called Seppl which is ready for you around the clock with chilled drinks, snacks, tobacco products and much more. Safe, shower, hairdryer, satellite flat TV radio Our bed linen is ironed cotton and also suitable for allergy sufferers.

The house by the lake, my lifelong dream. But too big to use on my own. Away from mass tourism, nestled in the mountains, right by the lake, surrounded by forests. Inside and around the house, everything is very spacious for both people and animals. Very important to us personally. In addition to the BBQ/fire pits, sauna, private jetty, beanbags and garden swings, rowing boat, SUP board and garden shed (‘Villa Seen-Sucht’), our guests can use everything… that way, it’s more fun for all of us.
