You'll feel like you're stepping back in time into a historic building made entirely out of brick, but our backyard cottage was completed in 2023 as a labor of love and hospitality. Enjoy direct access to Park Springs Park and trails at the end of the block, or a short walk/ride to the Downtown square. We live in the main house on the property, but designed the cottage to maximize guest privacy. Welcome!

The Bunkhouse sits adjacent to a large body of water. Just 10 miles to Pittsburg and 30 miles to Joplin, MO. Guests can enjoy time outside on the covered porch next to the water, sit around the fire pit on those cool evenings, go for a hike, play a game of pickleball, or enjoy some catch and release fishing from the bank. Cabin 3, Room 5 - Historic Little Switzerland

Cabin 3 is a mini-motel with three individual rooms. Rooms 5 features a queen size bed and two twin beds with a full bath. It also includes a private balcony. This is a hotel like room, there is a mini fridge and microwave as well as a dining table for 4 people, but it does not contain a full kitchen.
