Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Øyer Municipality

The cabin is a beautiful spot on earth with a fantastic view. With the two stoves you can create a nice cozy warm cabin, especially when it's bitterly cold outside. We were -18 degrees. The icing on the cake of our stay was the aurora lights we were allowed to see. The proximity to the ski slope was very convenient for us. We were very happy that we did not have to use our snow chains and our car with the good winter tires always made the mountain effortlessly despite snow and ice smoothness.

Large house with garden, ideal for families with children. We were two families with small children who spent a week here and had a very pleasant stay. The location is convenient with a relatively short drive to both Lillehammer city center and Hunderfossen waterfall. Sebastian is very nice and responds quickly to questions. Upon arrival it was tidy and the beds made up. A small point of improvement is that we wanted some closet space for outerwear, clothes and dry goods, this would make it easier to keep tidy for two families for a week. Still, this was not a big issue. We would definitely recommend this house and are happy to rent here again.

Our Third Trip, We love the place and feel that we are entering the home of a family that has spent years adding to such a traditionally Norwegian mountain retreat. The drive to Skeikampen is wonderful and we love the fact that a new supermarket has opened in Skeikampen. The Neighbour is so knowledgeable on local wildlife and is ever happy to share with us his insights. This place is a rare find and highly recommended. Tony O'Dea

This accommodation was perfect for our ski trip. As two families sharing the cabin, we had all the space and amenities we needed. The cabin is located in a stunning position with amazing sunrises and sunsets, internally it is well equipped with quality furniture and appliances and the beds are comfortable- very important after a day on the slopes. Bjorn was a very responsive host whenever we needed any help or information both before and during our stay. The sauna was a Godsend for relieving tired muscles and ensuring we all felt fresh and relaxed the next day. We would highly recommend this cabin which offers superb value for money in a fabulous position. And for anyone new to Hafjell, the resort, facilities and people are wonderful! We hope to return next year.

Very cozy and modern apartment that was within walking distance to the ski slope, as we imagined because we were there on the sports holiday for skiing. From the apartment we had a wonderful view out over the village and mountains! Perfect driving distance and nice roads from Gothenburg. We would be glad to come back!

Amazing place in a fantastic location! Recommended!

We had a lovely stay with 6 adults and 1 child… lovely and practical apartment that is well equipped. However, access to the slopes requires being comfortable on the red level… the access road to the lift was blocked due to training. We have children and urinated with us and were forced to drive by car for 20 minutes and had to park at the lift for a fee.

We felt right at home. The house is beautifully situated above Favang with a great view. We were greeted nicely and had everything we needed. Communication with Julia was excellent. We had enough wood for the stove to make ourselves comfortable. We were able to spend a nice week skiing. For cross-country skiing, Hafjell is better suited and also only 30 minutes away. We will be happy to come back.

We had a great stay in Hafjell! Unfortunately, snow in nature was bad, so ski in and ski out was not available. But it worked out with a free ski bus. The apartment was very nice with a nice patio with afternoon sun!

We had a great time staying at Kristin and Lars's place. The house is well located (with plenty of ski opportunities nearby), very spacious and has beautiful views of the farmhouse and surrounding countryside. For the past decade, we have been traveling regularly to Norway and Scandinavia, and it's one of the best places we've had. Kristin is a very welcoming host, with whom it is very nice to communicate with. She did everything to make our stay perfect. We will definitely be back!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, it was amazing. The space was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly cozy, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home, like a beer in the fridge and fresh fruit. The location was also perfect – quiet, yet close to great restaurants and local attractions. The host was incredibly responsive, providing helpful recommendations and ensuring everything was in order. I truly felt like I was at home. We really loved our stay in Hanne Mari's beautiful house. It felt like a privilege to stay in what was clearly a much-loved family home. Very comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen and our son enjoyed the sauna greatly. All in all a great location for our ski break and for exploring the area. Thanks Hanne Mari.
