Jason had a beautiful home that we were grateful to spend our Christmas holidays at. When there was an issue with electronics that we needed help with, not only did he respond rapidly but also came in person to help rectify the issue. A beautiful home and a wonderful host. :)

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this cozy cottage! The highlight was definitely the hot tub — perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. The BBQ setup was great and made evening meals easy and enjoyable. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and surrounded by beautiful nature views, making it a peaceful escape from the city. We especially loved sitting on the deck and taking in the quiet, scenic surroundings. Would definitely come back for another getaway!

Stayed here for a girls weekend away and it was fantastic. Beautiful home, everything we needed (and more!), wonderful vibes. Gorgeous setting, just a short drive from local amenities. Highly recommend and would absolutely return.

Beautiful home with everything you need for a good time. The couches were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. Outdoor amenities has patio furniture with plenty of seating. The firepit was easily accessible, and the hot tub was a great addition. All the bathrooms were clean and had everything as listed. The host was very responsive, and provided us with clear instructions promptly before check in and prior to check out. Overall, our party had a fantastic time, will stay again!

We really love this property! This was our second time staying here, and we enjoyed it so much that we ended up extending our visit by a couple of nights. The space is large and offers plenty of cozy spots to relax in different areas of the home. The kids had an amazing time playing in the pool and hanging out in the spacious living room. We’re already looking forward to coming back again. It’s the perfect private and local getaway for our large family!

Jennifer’s Place Was the perfect location for a quite and relaxing getaway. The views and property are just what’s needed to get away from the stresses of life. No need to go anywhere else. A great stay and very pet Friendly.

This cottage was great! We appreciated the super well-equipped kitchen, as well as all of the items available for kids. It was a relaxing week with great views of the lake from the cottage, hot tub, and fire pit. Very thankful they were able to accommodate us on short notice and will happily try and come back again!

This location was absolutely amazing! They had clearly but so much thought into the beautiful design, layout and decore. We had an incredible time here. The sauna , hot tub and fire pit outside added so much fun to our stay and allowed not only the children but the adults also to lay back and relax. 10 out of 10 recommend this air bnb. Amyn has done a wonderful job at providing a breath taking experience for his guests and we highly appreciate that. One extra exciting thing about this experience is that my partner & I had found out that we were expecting during this trip. And it was nice to do so in such a comfortable place, surrounded by friends and family. Thank you! We will definitely stay at this location again, if we ever travel back out that way!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully designed cabin! It’s tastefully decorated with a warm, cozy vibe, and the spacious outdoor area is perfect for families. There were so many thoughtful touches, like the welcome snack basket and a fully stocked kitchen with all the appliances and utensils you could possibly need. It made settling in so easy and enjoyable. Scott was super friendly and responsive prior to and throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a fantastic getaway, and we’d definitely love to come back!

We had cold rainy weather the whole time and still we enjoyed our stay. I brought lots of wood and we enjoyed the stove and the sauna. All appliances and shower worked well. Great place to sit back and chill.

Great place! Very cozy. It is obviously a place they cherish and go to on a regular basis. Nice attention to details and to guests' well being. Loved it.

Our getaway was delightful! Every moment felt special, from long dog walks through the property to relaxing in the cozy, beautifully designed cabin. The outdoor seating area was the perfect spot to unwind, and taking a refreshing dip in the swimming pond after our bike race made the experience even more memorable. Thank you, Rushad:)

We stayed for 4 nights at this cottage in late September, just as the autumn leaves were setting in. It was rainy at night but we enjoyed cozy nights watching The Hobbit or playing board games by the roaring fireplace. During the days, we did multiple hikes around Hardy Lake, went to Bala (a very quaint town-we made jokes about being in a cheesy Hallmark movie), toured the cranberry bogs and trails with hot wine drinks and just enjoyed time at the cottage. There is something for everyone whether you’re a cook, book-lover or outdoors enthusiast. We brought our two dogs who loved hiking the trails, watching chipmunks, swimming near the shore , and lounging on the dock. They even got into the canoe. There was a friendly senior dog who wandered down to say hi a couple times. The highlight of it all- we got engaged there! :) :) :) Sarah and Chris, you must be so proud of this enchanting cottage where so many special life moments were created.

Andrea was an amazing host, meeting us at the road and showing us around. The grounds are beautiful, well kept with plenty of varied seating to enjoy the sun and shade. Inside, the cabin was clean and well stocked. It was newly renovated it seemed and the appliance were new and clean. There is a remote control heating and cooling system so we didn’t have to use the wood stove. There was plenty of firewood to have a nice fire outside. The TV had Netflix, Amazon Prime etc without having to sign into your own account. And the Alexa sound bar cued to music on demand. The wifi was excellent, I had to do a bit of work while there. The shower had a large overhead rain shower and a hand held and the bathroom was very clean. The beds were very comfortable, the pillows and linen smelled fresh. We brought our dog, who has knee & hip issues and the terrain was perfect for her. She easily got in and out of the water. Lots of bunnies to keep her busy! Can’t wait to come back! Thanks Andrea

This was our second stay at Maple Lane Log Cabin and it definitely won’t be our last! We visited in the winter the first time we stayed so it was amazing to see how different and green the yard looked in the late spring. It was so peaceful to sit out on the deck listening to the water and the birds. As always, the cabin was spotless and so comfortable. We appreciated the extra blankets, the incredibly comfortable beds, and so many other thoughtful extras.

What a place! Highly recommended stay. We're stuck in cities due to work but love nature and lack the ability to own a cottage, so places like these give us the dose of nature we need to get through it all...lol This is a cozy little cabin with comforts of a Ritz...toilet with water, heat with thermostat, a sink, WiFi, pull out couch to watch anything on a projector...and did I mention the amazing firepit with stargazing tree cut-out of a pine tree forest...and 2 GREAT hammocks. You wake up to a sunset over a green field while hearing the robins (we also saw some cows and a deer!) The local town and shops are fun to go to as well....trails are also GREAT - especially Inglis falls. I highly highly recommend this place to anyone. Matthew and Meg answered all questions promptly and efficiently A+ experience ALL AROUND. Cant wait to go back. Thanks!

The cottage is so cozy and quaint. The sand on the front lawn was such a hit for our kids. The bedrooms were comfortable and having the bunkie as an extra bedroom was great. The Kitchen had everything you would need. The beach is clean, warm and shallow. Kate was great to deal with, we can't wait to go back every summer. Thanks for providing us a great space for a family vacation.

This cabin rental is beautiful. The river is so peaceful sounding and you have everything you need to relax and enjoy a quick little get away. We stayed as guests for a wedding near by and it accommodated me as a single well in the smaller cabin and my friend and her baby in the larger cabin. This was an excellent find! Scott was communicative and professional and everything was easy.

We enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s. Unfortunately we had a family funeral unexpectedly and could not arrive on Friday as planned. We arrived the Saturday evening instead but Jennifer offered a late check out for us since we had lost some time. Accommodation is pleasant and clean. Bed was comfortable and you can tell that Jennifer and her husband take great pride in the property Beautiful surroundings and a great view of the lake. Orr lake is very shallow and has a beach area it would be great if travelling with kids. We were disappointed that the water was too shallow for fishing from the dock but it was a chilly weekend so we spent time in nearby Midland. St Marie Among the Hurons was a great way to spend a cold afternoon. Found a great English pub in Victoria Harbour.

Our party of 9 (4 adults, 4 children and an infant) had a lovely winter stay at Meredith’s cabin. It’s beautifully decorated, super cozy with the wood burning fire and very spacious. The large basket of clean bath towels was a little luxury. Meredith had some thoughtful touches like valentines chocolates, hot chocolate and marshmallows out for us upon arrival. Our kids had a blast playing around the property in the snow, and the view is so peaceful. We hope to return again soon!
