Holiday rentals with a kayak in Overstrand Local Municipality

We had a wonderful stay at Moira's place. My little grandkids enjoyed playing in the enclosed garden, so they were very safe. We loved spending time on the stoep, just "kuiering". Thank you so much for a wonderful stay Moira. Kind Regards.

Stunning house, incredible host and support when needed. Had a door sticking on arrival, and Hanel had a locksmith around within 30 minutes to fix it and make our stay more comfortable. The location is great, beach across the road is stunning for swimming. We really enjoyed our time in Gordons Bay and this beautiful home.

We had a wonderful stay at Akwa house. There are plenty of spaces for the kids to relax and have fun while the adults could sit in the lounge overlooking the beautiful views. We loved the quiet location and family-friendly feel of the street. The kitchen was well stocked and we slept very comfortably in all the rooms. I would definitely recommend Akwa house to anyone looking for a great home right close to the beach.

This is a really lovely place - so close to the sea and such a beautiful location. Marienne was very kind and efficient and we enjoyed our stay very much.

We stayed over for Easter & had a great time. I felt a little unwell, so the amazing bedding & bed was very appreciated. We had the most incredible stay while celebrating my Dad’s 80th birthday with our whole family. The home was spacious, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped to accommodate all 12 of us comfortably. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery, and the dishwasher was a huge plus! One of the highlights was that it’s pet-friendly, which made it even more special for our family. We felt right at home and created the most precious memories during our stay. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us—we would absolutely love to return!

Murray's place was absolutely perfect. Check in was a breeze. The house is spotless and even better than the pictures. The kitchen has everything you can think of and we loved making our own pizzas in the pizza oven outside. It is literally down the road from the most beautiful tidal pool and beach.

The accomodation was one of the best I have ever had. The views from the cottage extraordinary. The cottage is decorated so tastefully. The colours choosen, the paintings and the deco , everything with the personal touch you do not find often in a BNB. Also equipped with everything in the kitchen and bathroom. Thank you very much. We loved the stay at the 'green' cottage. Lea was super friendly and helpful with checkin and any advise on activities to do around the area. Our 2 year old was in heaven listening to the lions roaring from the neighbour's animal sanctuary, after dark. Lea kindly allowed us to drive through their farm to view the Zebra and Eiland, 4x4 probably recommended. The cottage was clean and kitted out for our short stay. A braai under the closed verandah made a rainy night magical. we hope to be back.

Very quiet and peaceful. Off the beaten path and unplugged from reality. We really enjoyed it.

Charls’ place is truly a slice of paradise — the pictures simply don’t do it justice. Nestled right on the edge of the lagoon, the views are absolutely breathtaking. We were captivated by the ever-changing colors of the water, especially during sunrise and sunset. Watching wild horses gracefully wander past as the day began or ended felt like something out of a dream. One of the unexpected highlights was kayaking on the lagoon — such a peaceful and memorable experience. The home itself is beautifully appointed and exceptionally well-equipped. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered — from quality bedding and a hairdryer to conveniently placed plugs (which we really appreciated!). The added bonus of a washing machine and tumble dryer made our stay even more comfortable. If you considering it - don't hesitate, just book it!

If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this would be a good option. Slightly outside Hermanus, near the lagoon. Large living room windows look out to the water, where you can watch birds and just make out the ocean waves in the distance. Kitchen was stocked so you can do some light cooking. One room had an extra sink, which is nice. We could only get youtube to work on the TV, but who needs TV on vacation? Pack a book instead. Weather was not ideal during our visit to use the kayak, but this could have been fun. Water looked shallow enough in parts to walk in.

We had such a wonderful stay at Magda's place, which is nestled in Meerenbosch, with easy access to the lagoon. Beautiful surrounds, great amenities at the lodge, and the cabin has everything you could need for a happy, easy and fun holiday. The kitchen is so well stocked and the cabin is fantastic. Just note there is no wifi, but we were aware of that beforehand. The wild horses are a special treat. Magda is a great host, responsive and helpful and friendly!

A friend and I needed a few days to get away and relax. This was the perfect place for us. Quiet and serene. We enjoyed walking a bit and the swimming pool was so nice on a hot day. The house and kitchen are well set up and the lounge furniture is very comfortable. Great care has been taken to make sure that guests are very comfortable!
