A Perfect Nature Retreat – Highly Recommended! Our stay here was absolutely wonderful—one of the best ways to unwind in the midst of serene nature. Our son especially loved playing with the chickens and feeding them, which made the experience even more memorable. Agnes and her family were incredibly warm and welcoming. They even invited us to join their Easter fire in the garden, a special touch that made our stay truly unique. Agnes also prepared a delicious breakfast, including some yummy treats for our little one, which we greatly appreciated. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by beautiful landscapes, we highly recommend staying here for at least two days to fully immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the place. It’s an ideal escape for families, couples, or anyone seeking a refreshing break in nature. We’ll definitely be back!!

A very beautiful house in a wonderfully quiet wooded area. The house is fully equipped and very luxuriously finished. The bed sleeps wonderfully. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time. Beautiful quiet and natural environment with privacy. Extremely friendly welcome. Everything super neat and clean. Repeatable. The area is great and easy to walk and otherwise the bus towards the center. The stop is a 2-minute walk. Very hospitable and friendly owners. Everything was just great!

Our stay in this beautiful holiday home was simply great. The accommodation is cozy and very clean. The location is ideal – quiet and idyllic, but still well connected. We particularly liked the proximity to the zoo in Emmen, which we could easily reach. The charming cheese shop was also a great insider tip from Anne-Marie. In addition to the cheese, we also bought an Old Jenever, the traditional Dutch juniper, and had Hagelslag for breakfast. And of course, the whirlpool was simply fantastic for relaxing. For nature lovers, the nearby forest is ideal for walks or bike rides. We enjoyed the peace and the fresh air very much. Anne-Marie and Marnix were super friendly and helpful, the communication was uncomplicated and they responded quickly. There wasn't even a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival 😊 Conclusion: An absolutely recommended accommodation, we will be happy to come back.

What a beautiful clean cottage. Everything present. But especially the view and the tranquility. Ina and Jan are very hospitable. We would love to come back again to enjoy the peace and quiet.

Marianne and Daan made us feel just like family. This is a unique location with chickens and ducks, great fun for everybody, beautiful surroundings and a really private, quiet environment.

We came from France for 4 nights, the welcome was very warm, The setting is very beautiful and quiet, well designed for our dog Lilou, small enclosed courtyard, the accommodation is comfortable, as indicated on the site. Our long weekend was far too short! We have enjoyed beautiful walks in the area, including a trip to the Veluwe. We didn't get there to go to Zutphen or Apeldoorn, both not far away. And it was wonderful to come back to Inge's luxurious and comfortable cottage after being outside. We will be happy to come back here sometime!

We had a beautiful time at this lovely place. Judith & Marc gave everything for an unforgettable stay. The house is prepared so warmly with many useful extras. Whenever we needed something or simply needed help, we could send a text message and things were managed. We would love to come for a further stay. Either in summer to enjoy the impressing garden and its atmosphere or in winter, to feel cozy and safe at the beautiful house.
