We've enjoyed the stay in Vickie's cottage. It is located in a rural area which is very quiet. The cottage is a perfect starting point for visiting the stunning De Hoop Nature Reserve. The optional breakfast was fantastic!

A beautiful location, a magical night sky, a lovely host! A cute Cottage with everything you need. My suggestion, add the hot tub fees to rate like most properties that have this feature. Will recommend this cottage to everyone!

You can feel the love, care, and passion that Gabriela has poured into creating this magical retreat. Our stay was nothing short of incredible. From the joy of walking up to the labyrinth and witnessing a breathtaking sunset to the pure exhilaration of squealing down the foofy slide—every moment felt special. We loved hiking to the waterfall and rock pools, immersing ourselves in nature’s beauty. Our cozy rondavel felt like a warm hug after each day of adventure. The charm of Frog Mountain extends beyond the landscapes—it’s in the horses grazing peacefully, the cows wandering the fields, and the symphony of beautiful birdsong each morning. Swimming in the river was a refreshing delight, and every corner of this place felt like a gift to the soul. We are deeply grateful

Had a really beautiful experience staying in the Glass Teepee! Everything we needed was provided for and while the weather didn't play along, we were warm and comfortable. The environment is really serene and peaceful and amenities are excellent!

Anita's place is perfect for a solo getaway - beautiful views in a peaceful setting. As someone travelling alone, I also appreciated the security of the gated estate. Anita is a lovely and welcoming host.

Really enjoyed our stay at Hudson's place - the cabin is really peaceful and looks out into a beautiful leafy area, lots of privacy and quiet. While we never actually had the opportunity to meet Hudson, he was super responsive and helpful in messages and the instructions for finding and getting into the place were very clear. The bed was very comfortable and all amenities were great, exactly as listed/described. Would happily stay again!

The Nest is a wonderfully romantic stay! The pictures are very accurate, but nothing can prepare you for the breathtaking beauty and tranquility of the location. The accommodation was perfectly clean and equipped with everything you could need to enjoy the stay to it's fullest. I would highly recommend The Nest and would definitely stay here again.

We had such a wonderful stay here! The location is stunning and from the second we got there we just felt immediately relaxed. The view of the town and the horses is so beautiful and peaceful, the house is cozy and has everything you need, and the hot tub was clean and wonderful under the stars once it got hot. The place feels both very open while also being very private, which is rare and so nice. All the info provided was very accurate and helpful. We brought our small dog and she loved it too! Renee and Milton were very friendly and responsive hosts, and we would absolutely come back in a heartbeat.

Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect, exactly what we were looking for. The space had everything we could possibly want, the hot tub was amazing, the bed was super comfortable, and the shower with the open back doors was something I never knew I needed. Accommodation was perfect for an overnight stay in Villiersdorp. Clean, comfortable and safe. Laura was also a friendly helpful host with good knowledge of the area.

What an amazing tranquil experience. The views were breathtaking, and the rustic charm of the cottage made us feel at home while still enjoying a getaway. The hospitality was exceptional. They had everything we needed on the farm so we didn't have to leave if we didn't want to. They had a shower and hot tub outside that made the experience even more relaxing. The proximity of the pool and Lapa with a pizza oven added to the convenience, creating a cozy atmosphere. It was a truly relaxing experience that soothed the soul.

Nina’s place is incredible, it’s peaceful and tranquil. A great getaway for anyone looking for some peace from the busy city life. The nature, animals and surroundings are beautiful. As for Nina as a host, she was amazing - helpful with everything from getting there to clear instructions about the unit and surroundings. Thank you for the great time and stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Hoederhok. It was very clean and nicely presented. A lovely alternative to staying in town. A real country feel. Yolanda was a great host, thank you.

Lizelle's correspondence was really good, and her place is lovely! You can see and hear the sea. A lovely place that we would definitely return to!

Even better than the photos. The hosts Juneta and Antoinette made us feel right at home and gave lots of recommendations on how the best enjoy the beautiful Franschhoek. The unit is central and well within walking distance from shops, restaurants and the Franschhoek terminal of the wine tram. We sincerely hope that we can come back here some day 😊

We had a lovely stay. Even with it raining both days, we were warm and cosy. The fireplace inside was great and the hot tub was a winner. Patrick did a great job in heating up the tub for us prior to our arrival and made sure we had ample wood to keep it going. The pod has amazing views and a luxurious feel to it with soft quality bedding and le creuset crockery. Due to the pod being off grid with solar heating and the rainy weather, the water was luke warm or cold but that was to be expected. The pod does have water damage to the paint in the bedroom, but it doesn't take away from the luxury feeling of the pod. Highly recommended!

What a great weekend getaway for any season. We had a wonderful time on a rainy weekend with the fire place and hot tub. The hosts were responsive and the place is fully equipped.
