Holiday rentals with a kayak in Outaouais

Shirley a vraiment été une super hôte! Elle avait partie un petit feu de foyer pour nous avant que l’on arrivent. Elle nous a laissé des condiments, café et bouteille de vin 😇quelle belle attention! Nous recommandons sans hésitation, s’était mieux que sur les photos! Mon conjoint et ses employés on passé une agréable soirée, dans un décor féerique! Merci Shirley

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cottage. It was clean, it had a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable rooms to sleep. The check-in process was easy and everything was easy to find in the home. Our kids loved the ping pong table. The hot tub was especially lovely as the weather was a bit cooler than we had hoped for! Again, a lovely visit and we would highly recommend. This is an excellently kept AirBnB and a really kind and thoughtful host. We had forgotten some belongings behind and were quickly notified and he offered to ship them back to us, making our life so much easier and solving a problem that could have been a headache! We will be back in the future!

Marc’s place checked off all our boxes for a wonderful weekend getaway celebrating my 30th birthday. Space was big enough for our 10 guests to comfortably sleep. Large dining room table to sit all of us for meals. Enough space in the backyard to play games and plenty of seating available. Fire pit was our favourite part with plenty of firewood to use! Marc was responsive to my messages and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Could not recommend this place more!

We had such a wonderful time at this cottage! The setting is peaceful and private. The large deck supplied with paddle board/kayaks, the dock, and the fire pit were highlights. We had lots of fun swimming and paddling around the lake, which was clear and quiet. The cottage is more on the rustic side, but is as shown in the photos. Would absolutely love to stay here again!! The hosts provided very clear instructions on check-in and check-out, and were quick to respond to messages.

We had an amazing time at Pete’s. The location was perfect, we had our own private beach. The kids enjoyed the provided kayaks and water toys. Our dogs lived in the water for 7 days. The house is much bigger than it appears in photos, and has ample room for a large family or group.

We had a great stay! Played a lot of ping pong and spent time in the hot tub. It was a nice relaxing weekend away in a beautiful location

This is our second time renting Kyle’s cottage and we once again weren’t disappointed. This was a much needed quiet getaway out of the city. Would definitely recommend.

I would come back here with friends and family for a getaway or special celebration any day! They know what you want to have fun and relax, and the set up makes it easy to slip right into vaycay mode - with a view to boot! But that sandy walk out to the river with the bright view from inside - beautiful. Thank you!

Joni’s cottage is beautiful, spacious and full of charm, highly recommend! It is perfectly appointed, kitchen is very well equipped with tons of dishes and cookware. Cottage is right on a small lake with a waterfall just a short hike away on the property. Lots of games and a lovely fireplace for chilly nights. Joni was very responsive and a pleasure to correspond wiht, this is a gem!

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was clean, quiet, and had a lovely ambiance that made it easy to relax. The hot tub was a great bonus and added to the peaceful, private atmosphere. It was also very convenient— the location made getting around simple. A small suggestion: adding shades or blinds to the large windows and doors would help with privacy, especially in the evenings. Overall, a great place to stay—would definitely recommend!

This cottage was the absolute perfect place to enjoy some down time as a family! The cottage was clean, well equipped and located on a beautiful, quiet beach. Everything we needed was provided and more! We enjoyed playing soccer on the large sandy beach, swimming, fishing, board games, campfires and watching movies in the evening. The kids and parents loved it!

We enjoyed a lovely week at Matt's place on Lake Clear. The cottage was very clean and had enough room for us to spread out. We loved spending time down by the bunk house over looking the water. The cottage was well appointed and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation.

Jim’s place was great and had absolutely everything we needed (well stocked on coffee, tea, spices etc). My two sisters and I went up for a quiet getaway for a few days and it was just lovely. The cottage itself is beautiful and so is the property. We came during winter and it was still gorgeous but we can only imagine how extremely beautiful it is in summer when you can enjoy more time outside. Everything was so clean inside and they had thought of tons of small things to keep us comfortable. Well worth the drive and visit to this beautiful place and we would love to come again!

We brought our parents for a family getaway in celebration of their 60th anniversary and we loved staying at Jill's cottage. It's very comfortable and relaxing with such beautiful scenery. Jill is a wonderful host and always there to answer any questions. We highly recommend this cottage. We'll definitely go back again.

Stéphane est un hôte incroyable. Compréhensible, gentil, à disposition de nos besoins je n’ai rien à redire. Même avec une situation un peu compliqué il a su être à notre écoute et nous avons trouvé un arrangement avec lui hyper rapidement. Je suis agréablement satisfaite de son service.Ceci est un logement que je vais réserver pour d’autre occasions!

Superbe chalet de Catherine et Max Nous avons passé un excellent weekend entre amis avec une vue superbe sur le lac et avec le jacuzzi ! Le chalet possède tout le nécessaire, très bien équipé ! Merci pour ce beau souvenir

I had a fantastic 2-night stay at this cozy lakefront cottage. The space was clean, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed to relax—from the peaceful hot tub with lake views to the different watercrafts. It was the perfect mix of comfort and nature. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été charmés par l’esthétique du lieu. L’intérieur offre une véritable ambiance de chalet, chaleureuse et authentique. La tranquillité des lieux correspondait parfaitement à ce que nous recherchions. Tout était parfait. C’était la première fois que nous séjournions dans un chalet aussi bien équipé — nous n’avons manqué de rien. Le projecteur est une petite touche que nous avons particulièrement appréciée. Nous avons aussi beaucoup aimé l’emplacement du jacuzzi, un peu à l’écart, agrémenté de jolies lumières. Nous recommandons vivement ce chalet et reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was charmingly decorated, very comfortable and had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed having access to the kayaks. Very close to Parc Regional Morrissette which has a stunning view! Definitely recommend this place!

A cozy, secluded, minimalist cabin/pod perched on the edge of a vibrant wetlands, the Wood Duck had everything I was looking for and more, combining the feeling of wild camping with the comforts of a solid, heated structure with a barbecue, mini-fridge, microwave, and all sorts of wonderful added features, from a solar shower to a smart TV (!) to canoe and kayak access. It's rare to find a place on airbnb that gives such genuine value for such a fair price, and that actually delivers the privacy it promises, and the more one explores what Zac and Steph have to offer through Deacon Escarpment Cabins, Camping and Trails, the more one comes to appreciate how lovingly and respectfully they've set things up for people to really immerse themselves in nature, and have a wonderful time doing it. As a bonus, communication was warm, simple and straightforward, and I was so appreciative of the ease and flexibility of checking in and out. Would love to return - thanks again, Zac and Steph!

Beautiful spot to stay! We had a great time staying in the comfort and clean space, and loved the scenery. Francis had great communication and the Kayaks on the lake were super nice to take out as well. Very pleased with our stay!
