Peaceful and wooded it is located 90 minutes from Gatineau/Ottawa. Built in 2018 it looks like a rustic chalet, it is perfect for relaxing and getting away from everyday life. Welcome to our modern countryside cabin located on a 2 acre lot in Wakefield, Quebec. Come relax and recharge for a few days while taking advantage of nature and the cozy interior with fireplace. There is plenty to do nearby: discover the Wakefield village, its restaurants, boutiques, farms, the Gatineau Park, the Nordik Spa, Eco-Odyssee, the nearby golf courses and ski hills, etc. (CITQ Permit #298430. Welcome to our rustic cottage. Upon arrival, you will be immediately charmed by its ancestral and rustic look, where wood and steel transport us back in time. The Repère Du Bûcheron has a queen bed located on the mezzanine, as well as a sofa bed in the living room, allowing it to accommodate a total of four people. Guests of all ages can enjoy on-site activities, including a beach, hiking trail, cross-country ski trail, and a sugar shack within a two-minute walk.

Domaine Rivière Rouge The Mathys with year-round hot tub can accommodate 4 people with a king size bed and sofa bed in the living room. Unique experience in the heart of the Laurentians, on the shores of Lake Joan, 25 minutes from Mont-Tremblant. Enjoy the hot tub while letting yourself be lulled by the calm and admire the landscape. Built with logs. Well equipped for cooking. Heated with woodstove - firewood included. In the middle of the forest. A lot of trails to enjoy. No neighbours. The perfect spot to unwind. The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
