The cabin is located approximately 11 km from the center history of Ouro Preto, in Catarina Mendes, a rural village within the APA das Andorinhas. A 25- to 30-minute drive. There is no public transportation. Two possible routes, both leading to the Morro São Sebastião neighbourhood. The access has about 2km of dirt road. Ordinary passenger vehicles (including 1.0) arrive at the site without difficulty on a daily basis. During rainy periods, the road may have more slippery stretches
