Kos Hytte is a haven to disconnect and renew your energies. A unique and romantic place to get away from the routine, with complete privacy and mountain views. Far from all the euphoria of the city and right in the middle of nature, in the open woods for you to breathe fresh air and enjoy the birdsong. As we are in a remote area, we use spring water. (in rainy weather it may look a little cloudy) We have a power generator (backup) in case the utility company's power goes out in the cabin.

We are located on the corner of Floresta Uaimii and Gandarela. We are 50 km from the center of Ouro Preto, 80 km from BH Shopping and 25 km from Itabirito with fully paved access.

Welcome, we are from Chalés Vila Rica, located in Catarina Mendes, a rural area, 7 km from the Historic Center of Ouro Preto, on the banks of the Rio das Velhas, with Bar do Ricardo (a renowned Bar and Restaurant in Ouro Preto and the surrounding region) as a property. Bar do Ricardo is a cozy place, where good food and drink meet in a welcoming atmosphere. It is known for offering a wide variety of portions and drinks, with emphasis on traditional Minas Gerais cuisine

Canto do Vale Cottage 01

Our chalet is a cozy corner in total contact with nature and a beautiful view. Here you will have quiet, peace, tranquility and privacy, while being less than 10 minutes from the center of Ouro Preto or Mariana Come and forget all your problems in our chalet. The Canto do Vale Chalets 01 and 02 are semi-detached and very similar, but with totally independent access and privacy. Our chalets are for a maximum of 2 people. We don't allow pets. Smoking is not allowed.

Candeia Cabin

Cabana Candeia is located in Catarina Mendes, a rural district of Ouro Preto, 11 km from the Historic Center (25 to 30 min by car). Surrounded by nature and close to the Catarina Mendes Waterfall, it's an invitation to slow down, breathe fresh air, and enjoy the tranquility in the midst of the mountains. Access is via two routes through Morro São Sebastião; the last 2 km are on a dirt road, in good condition and easily accessible for passenger cars.

Pousada Cantinho DaRô is located in Acuruí, a historic district of Itabirito/MG that is over 300 years old, surrounded by waterfalls and close to the Uaimií Forest and Gandarela Park. The Magnolia Cabin, inaugurated in April 2023, was built of wood and a lot of reuse, uniting sustainability and coziness. Situated high on the mountain, it offers a breathtaking sunset, perfect for moments of peace and romance.

Chalet located on the shores of Lake Taboão, in Santa Rita de Ouro Preto, with an equipped kitchen, bedroom with a king size bed, TV, fireplace, barbecue (we do not provide charcoal) and a hot tub with a breathtaking view. 🚨 Attention: the lake is artificial and used for power generation, so changes in the landscape may occur. ⚠️ This chalet does not have a swimming pool.
