Monthly Rentals in Ourique

I stayed at the dome with my children and for us it was paradise. There is an abundance of space, beautiful nature, silence, the elements, a nightsky full of stars, and lots of great advice and help from Barbara. It takes a bit of an adventurous and spontaneous spirit to stay there, it’s not so easy to reach esp. after lots of rainfall, but as I found out things always magically arrange themselves there.

We had a great stay at Catarinas home, we stayed for a few weeks over the summer in between travel and it was the perfect downtime spot. The home and area was very peaceful, and quiet. Shops were about a 10 minute drive, and there was a rec centre nearby which was nice to go swimming at. We stayed for the month of august which was very hot but the home remained cool inside. Thank you for everything!

We had a great time at Flora’s place! From the start Flora and Vero made us feel at home. There were tons of board games, legos, and retro video games for some quality time, and the outside area with a pool was perfect for a relaxing weekend. Vero’s food was amazing, definitely try the lemon pasta and the profiteroles. The location is very peaceful, it’s a small town in the middle of Alentejo and it’s a short drive from places like Castro Verde and Aljustrel.

Our stay at Cabanas Do Lago was a dream - Filipa, Luis and their three sons are the sweetest, kindest and most generous hosts anyone could ask for. Their home that they share with their guests is a beautiful place in the best location with easy access to lovely beaches and pretty little towns. Whether it was enjoying the property, exploring Alentejo or spending an evening with everybody watching football and being spoiled by Filipa‘s cooking skills - we had a wonderful time and are already planning on coming back!
