An absolutely charming property, surpassed only by the beauty of its location. Wonderful hosts, thoughtful, personable and welcoming. I honestly couldn't fault my stay there. I will definitely return. Truly wonderful.

Darren and Nadene provided me with exactly what I needed! A gorgeous place with so much peace and quiet! Nadene made me breakfast in the morning which was such a lovely time to enjoy a bite to eat and great company! I’ll be back!

A nice , quite and neat place to stay for us to view the red leafs. There are more than our expected. we have a good time to stay in there.

I just spent 5 nights at Darren and Nadene's place, and it was wonderful. The room was just fabulous and so spacious.....a friend took one of the rooms next to mine and we had our own bathroom, kitchen and a beautifully spacious common room. It is a great place to stay, quiet and comfortable. Nadene's muffin for breakfast was a highlight for sure, and we had a couple of small issues which she was more than willing to help us sort out. I would highly recommend their place for anyone traveling in the area.

Nadene was an incredible host. Came right out to welcome me, walk me down to the water to see all that they had to offer, and then helped out with some coffee beans and incredible peaches when I realized I didn't pack all I should have. Highly recommended.

From US, did not know it was Thanksgiving holiday. Algonquin sold out. Very gracious hosts. Lovely town and close enough to Algonquin. Accommodations were extremely comfortable and very clean. Hosts were very helpful with advice for local opportunities for adventure.

I frequently visit the area for work and have chosen to stay at this location on multiple occasions. The affordability relative to its size and amenities is remarkable. It's been a challenge to find a comparable option at this price point. What stands out the most to me is the ongoing enhancements I notice with each visit.

Good value, comfortable room and double bed for a couple of nights. Peaceful location, good area for lakes/paddling

It was nice experience staying at this place. It was private, calm and so relaxing. It’s worth staying there for summer. I will definitely come back to this place. I recommend this place to everyone.

A great spot right next to Algonquin. The BBQs outside the rooms are a real plus but the best part are the evenings at the tavern bar. Make sure you get down there! Bongo is a great guy and really puts the effort into making it a great social environment!

This is a lovely old inn on the lake. It was a great place to relax and unwind. The family who run it were very friendly and accommodating. Kayaked around some of the lake, a beautiful pool. It was great!

Second time staying here and I must stay it’s been great each time! Hosts are amazing and communicate well with even when I book 15 mins before arriving. Definitely will be back a third and 4th time

We really enjoyed Bongo’s place. For someone who wanted to stay deep in the woods while having convenient access to life supplies (food, drinks etc), this is a rare find with unexpectedly beautiful BAR 😍😍😍 We didn’t feel like we sacrificed any bit of the city social vibe, which was a great value especially when it got boring at night. The hosts were one of the best people I’ve ever met. The location is right beside a lake. There are lots of canoes and kayaks to choose from. Trails and parks are all within 30 min drive. Cannot ask for more 🥹🥹🥹

This place is amazing! If you like relax and be away from the city this place is for you. If you like arts You be amaizt here and next door is gallery of the lake. Thanks for Havig us in your place.

Fantastic space, would definitely return in the future! Cons: -Locating which suite we were staying in was a little tricky, could use better signage -Couch was quite uncomfortable -Upstairs suite was fairly noisy, sounded like moving furniture Pros: -BEAUTIFUL outdoor space, and the waterfront on the Lake of Bays is pristine -Check-in and parking was straightforward -Kitchenette was well stocked, and the suite was very clean Overall, I’m glad I spent the extra money on this place over a basic hotel. The outdoor space is truly what you’re paying for, and where you’ll get the most out of your stay. Algonquin park is 20 minute drive.

I had a fantastic stay at this charming lakeside spot! The unit was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The lake is just a short walk away, with free access to canoes and paddle boards, however, I did not get to use them as the weather was not good. There are firepits on the property and board games in the lounge, which is great as there is something to do regardless of the weather. Communication was great and Kevin was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again!
