I had wonderful stay at Bill’s place, property was exactly as described — cozy,clean and well-maintained. Bill was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. The location is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views of the surrounding nature. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to relax and unwind while being close to Dorset Tower. I especially enjoyed the peaceful ambiance and the ability to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Dorset area — whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a family retreat, or a solo trip to recharge. I’ll definitely be back!

The location is great, private, quiet and pleasant to stay. As a couple, we got to spend a lot of time together either relaxing or enjoying various activities. There are lot of equipments available for use anytime. The room is cozy and provides rustic look which is different but definately refreshing with Lakeview. The staff is welcoming and very nice. Thank you for hosting us...

Really sad that this is the last winter of the Nomad, we will miss this beautiful inn where we spent such beautiful weekends. Everything was perfect here, the atmosphere, the rooms, the price, the location, I would have come back again for several years! Good luck with your new projects, thanks for everything!

Thank you for a lovely stay, our kids loved playing with yours. For those who love nature, the place is fantastic. The bakery is excellent and we wish them all the best in the future.

I just spent 5 nights at Darren and Nadene's place, and it was wonderful. The room was just fabulous and so spacious.....a friend took one of the rooms next to mine and we had our own bathroom, kitchen and a beautifully spacious common room. It is a great place to stay, quiet and comfortable. Nadene's muffin for breakfast was a highlight for sure, and we had a couple of small issues which she was more than willing to help us sort out. I would highly recommend their place for anyone traveling in the area.

Staying at Cedarhaus was a unique experience! Daryl and Louisa have thought of every detail to make their guests comfortable. The communal living and kitchen area is lovely and functional. A variety of quality, fresh, nutritious and delicious breakfast foods were there to choose from and prepare. Other personalized touches are everywhere, including the quality linens and beautiful decor of the private bedroom area. We spent the beginning and end of our days on the dock by the lovely little lake, which could also be explored using the boating options provided, as well as swimming, or just gazing out at the lake, cliffs and tress. I do hope to stay a Cedarhaus again!

This is our second stay at the boathouse. Kathy is the best host, she is so friendly and cooks the most amazing breakfast. Her place is absolutely stunning and the lake is quiet with great fishing! The boathouse is a perfect getaway from the city and offers a picturesque view of the lake. We were lucky enough to have clear skies at night with an almost full moon. The way the moon reflected off the glass like water was magical. We will be back for sure! Just as an FYI there is no running water/sink/kitchen in the boathouse and the bathroom is in the main house. Just make sure you prepare for that and you will have an amazing time.
