Kaksio Sunila by Aalto Päivölä

Pieteetillä remontoitu kaksio (45m2), jossa makuuhuone, olohuone, keittokomero, kylpyhuone ja parveke. Sunila on Alvar ja Aino Aallon suunnittelema ainutlaatuinen metsälähiö. Asunto on hissittömässä terassitalo Päivölässä, joka on valmistunut 1939. Kotkan keskustaan on noin 13km ja Karhulaan noin 3km. Asunto on remontoitu mahdollisimman alkuperäiseen asuun, ja se on kalustettu kiertotalousperiaatteella pääosin Aaltojen suunnittelemilla kalusteilla. Tekstiilit pesemme hajuttomilla pesuaineilla.

Sijainti on suorastaan loistava huvivenesataman ja kauppatorin välissä, molempiin kävellen matkaa muutama minuutti. Näkymä huoneiston ikkunoista aukeaa viereiseen puistoon. Vanhassa kivitalossa sijaitseva asunto on jykevien seinien ansiosta hiljainen, ja sijaitsee länsipuolella taloa. Maksuton pysäköinti joko kadun varressa tai satamassa sijaitsevalla pysäköintialueella, jossa myös sähköautojen latauspiste.

Alakerrassa on pieni, mutta hyvin varusteltu keittiö sekä pieni kylpyhuone/wc. Autopaikka on oven edessä. Kesäaikana vierailla on pääsy majoittajan rannalle, josta on uintimahdollisuus.
