I confirm all positive reviews against Marcello who is an exceptionally kind host. Warm and welcoming he gave us valuable tips for our visits, such as taking the train to visit Bari. In short, we had a wonderful week and hope to return to ostuni soon.

Massimo was an exceptional host from the very beginning. He provided so many thoughtful and helpful recommendations ahead of our stay, which made planning our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. Upon arrival, he welcomed us warmly, helped with our bags, and gave us a wonderful tour of the space. It was a treat to hear about the history of the home and the impressive work he put into transforming it—his love for the space and eye for detail truly shine through. The home itself was beautiful, comfortable, and full of character, with a fantastic outdoor area we loved relaxing in. Ostuni was an absolute gem—super walkable, charming, and full of great spots to explore. We had an unforgettable stay and are so grateful for Massimo’s hospitality!

Our guide arranged for airport pickup and transport to Chris’ place, but were then told they would drop us off as close as they could. This raised immediate concerns on finding where to go, but we were met by Catarina who helped with luggage and walked us to our place. This apartment is on a street where no cars are allowed and there are 3 sets of stairs to get to that street level and then a few doors down. The apartment was extremely clean. We used the sofa bed, which was pretty comfortable for one person. Bedding and down pillows were great. Very walkable to main area of town. There was really no information for local walkable groceries, but we were able to locate with our phone. We were looking for a place that was on one level, which it was after climbing a flight of entry stairs. There is another flight of old stone stairs to deck, which was great. My only complaint would be I wish owners would replace outdoor cushions every spring due to mildew.

The photos don't do justice to the amount of space. It's a great location on the border of the new and old towns - broadly shopping in one direction and sightseeing in the other. Ideal for two people in that the bathroom is the other side of the bedroom from the living room /kitchen. It's very well equipped, so you could stay in and cook or choose one of the many restaurants and panificio/panzerotto places for a snack. Highly recommended and will return.
