Beachfront holiday rental in Oscoda Township

We were looking for a peaceful retreat-like property and this filled the bill. Every morning we were greeted by colorful sunrises. Each evening we had a full view of the star-filled sky, anchored by a brilliant moon. The property is such that guests have a unobstructed full view of the lake through t the spacious glass door windows. We began our days sitting on the beach as the sun rose. Each evening we ended the day gathered around a fire which was fueled by a generous stockpile of wood provided by Mark and Company. The property has plenty of woods, enough for a mini-wilderness walk. Most everything is provided for every day needs. The modern kitchen is fully-equipped with pots, pans, dishes, silverware etc. Beds are super comfortable. We even surpised ourselves by collaborarting on assembling a jig-saw puzzle provided by the property. Thanks Mark. Great job.

My wife and I along with two 13 year old girls went from June 8th-June-13th. What you see is what you get, beautiful area and lake. It really is a home away from home. Clean spacious and so cozy. We just can't say enough The girls went for walks down to the bridge to the park area across the lake, they enjoyed it. We rented a pontoon from Sunny Bunns and wow they gave us a deal! plenty to do on the lake and so much around to do. Thank you Suzanne for very relaxing family vacation.

Outstanding! Very clean. We clean up after ourselves so not getting slammed with a high house cleaning fee and other fees made this a great value for families. One of the best places we’ve ever rented and Becca was so nice to work with.

Pros- Stunning views from the living area to the lake. Plenty of sandy beach front with all the rocks you would ever want in the water. Impressively clean and beds were made like you were at a 5 star resort. Kim has raised the bar for being a host with Airbnb!! Kim is a 5 star host and thought of everything to make our stay like it was our home. Cons- I don’t have anything negative to say regarding the host, the cabin, the cleanliness, and the location. Kim mentioned this is not baby or child proof; the only concern I would have if I brought little ones would be the outside. There are steep steps down to the beach. Every house in this area has just as many steps down from the house to the beach. Plenty of beach area once you are there, just keep in mind if you pick up rocks, you will have to carry those up the steps.

We enjoyed our time here and thought it was very clean and well organized! Having kayaks, fishing, paddle boat, fishing boat etc all available to us and all kinds of water and beach toys was great. Things are super organized in their well-lit shed and having all these things accessible to us was a huge perk of staying here. The cabin was cute and very clean and welcoming.

I love this place. The only thing I dislike is how uncomfortable the beds are. I would recommend bringing a topper so you can save your back from aches and pains after a couple days. Cottage was exactly as described. Really enjoyed the beachside fire pit. Met some lovely folks and shared fireside stories. Great location. Fantastic bargain.

This was the perfect place for my family of six adults and one dog. We loved having the four kayaks and it was easy to get into the water from the dock. We enjoyed fishing from the dock too. Our dog loved the beach access to the water. We went in the hot tub and soaked up the beautiful view. The kitchen table seats six and was exactly what we needed when we played games. We played a few games of ping pong and foosball in the garage. The outdoor shared pool, pickleball court, playground, and basketball court are only a 5 minute walk away. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioners kept the whole place cool. We loved this home on the lake.

This is our second stay at the property. We loved it. We took our two year old grandson and we rented just for the pool and hot tub. So nice to just unwind and recharge. It’s easy to do at this property. Easily cooked dinner and shopped for our needs. I think this is our new place to come!

My husband said to put it on the top of re-rent list, highly suggest! The house is rustic in the perfect up north vibes kinda way while keeping all the nice amententies of home. There was plenty of space inside and out.The little lake and view from the deck are beautiful! The privacy and large yard give plenty to do even on somewhat rainy cloudy days, we had fires, kayaked, hiked. We went to the community pool on a nice hot day, the pool was nicely heated, clean and had a great view. It was also connected to a bar and grill that brings cocktails and food to you. We grilled and ate like kings and it was so nice to have the stocked kitchen and grill, the ice maker was a perfect touch and the variety of ways to make coffee and or tea were so thoughtful. We are already talking about when we could go again! Thank you for the wonderful mini vacation❤️

Rustic charm Beautiful scenery…. Can’t say enough about that.. Host were so quick to respond to any questions we had! (Very important) Great fishing spots! Neighbor lake has much bigger fish!! Beds super clean and fresh smelling and comfortable! TVs have lots of channels Pool table was added fun! Everything you needed for a family of 10 to enjoy some tranquility and family fun! Just beautiful! All around:) Go to Landing Zone for bowling! Veteran owned! And we went to Mancino’s (it looked vacant but new owners) great pizza and yummy grinders (homemade bread) that offers gluten free pizza and also has garlic knots!! Only 2 regrets, we didn’t book 2 wks & we really did not prepare for Michigan weather. Haha Bring sweatshirts and pants cuz mornings cold and afternoons warm and evenings cold. Can’t wait to go back!

We will definately be back again! This location was less than 10 minutes frim my hunting property and had plenty to do to keep us busy while we werent hunting. All the luxuries of home!

My family & I loved it . Everyone was content just staying at the cottage . Lol but we did check out A couple of the recommendations & they were very nice !! Great stay will definitely book again !!

This place was pristine. Usually spots right next to the water smell at least a little bit like mildew, but not this one! We saw no signs of insect or critter intrusion either. The place could use some shades, or ventilation in the bathroom, but overall it was spotless and peaceful. Oscoda is tiny but this is a short drive to Tawas City where there’s lots to do. The private beach entrance was right across the street and easy to access. The sauna was closed for maintenance, but Aaron was upfront about this and the pool and hot tub were still open. Overall we had a great experience here!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Very toddler friendly and the access to the water was perfect.

This was an outstanding cottage for a winter getaway for our family! It was a great location close to multiple ski resorts and downtown Gaylord. We enjoyed getting to ski, tube, horseback ride, and play in the snow outside of the cottage. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and everything was clean and cozy! It was perfect for what we were looking for. Dawn was an excellent communicator and didn’t hesitate to give us recommendations in the area and check in to make sure all is well. When we got snow overnight, there was even someone to shuffle and plow immediately in the morning. We would absolutely come back!

Lovey home. Beautiful location. Very clean. Amply stocked. Great communication. For those who have problems with many stairs…. This is NOT a good fit. There are twenty steps each time you enter or leave the home. Outside there are more stairs to move to the lower level.

We had a great stay! The house was perfect, everything we needed was provided. We really enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. The covered back porch was great for eating all meals outside. Very relaxing and enjoyable!

This was our first Airbnb experience, and it exceeded our expectations! My family and I had a wonderful time at this home. The house was cozy, well-stocked, and truly felt like home. We especially enjoyed sitting outside by the beach, which was such a peaceful and relaxing experience. The house even had extra beach items that made our stay even more enjoyable. We only needed to bring a few extra items since everything we needed was provided.

Our stay was very beautiful and relaxing. Everything was super clean and felt homey. Communication was great, and this was perfect for me and my partner. Right on the lake and absolutely stunning. Only thing I would note is that with warm weather and it being on the lake there are a lot of flying bugs (but that's to be expected). It is a bit pricey, but I would highly recommend this for your next stay up north!

Great Beach House! My family and I stayed here for 4 nights. The surroundings are beautiful. We watched the sunrise over the lake every morning and enjoyed the patio and fire pit each evening. We enjoyed the early morning wildlife-bald eagle, deer in the lake, a multitude of different birds, and enjoyed watching and looking up thw freighters as they passed. The lake was supeisingly warm even when thw temperature outside was only in the 60's. Definitely bring water shoes! Port Austin was a short drive North where they hold an amazing Farmer's market on Saturday.

We had a great time at the chalet on our trip to cross-country ski in the area. Great location and quiet. Appreciated the treats (hot cocoa and s’mores). Kids loved the upstairs. Super comfy beds and nice open layout. Snowed quite a bit before and during our stay- excellent ski conditions and we enjoyed exploring the many xc ski areas within 7-25 min drive (XC Ski Headquarters, Forbush Corner, Hanson Hills, Hartwick Pines). Best lunch was at The Stone Turtle Cafe at XC Ski Headquarters.
