Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Oscoda County

We had a wonderful stay at their lodge. The host was incredibly kind, considerate, and welcoming—one of the best we've experienced so far. The place had everything we needed, with plenty of thoughtful amenities. The home was very clean, and we especially enjoyed the cozy basement area. The large yard was peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and serene stay!

House was charming and comfortable. Location is great for getting on the river, and very close to town for everything else. Host was helpful and friendly, zero problems. More expensive for a short stay than we would usually do, but understandable given the prime location and amenities.

Perfect location for our weekend away with friends. Close to Luzerne and Grayling, which is where we gathered most often. The house accommodated our group well. Bedrooms had comfortable beds, kitchen was well stocked, and bathrooms were clean with nice linens. The host was very friendly, informative, and responsive to any needs, before, during, and after our stay. She even provided us with S‘mores items which we shared with our friends. If you need a place to stay for your next fishing, snowmobiling, kayaking/canoeing, trip near Mio, MI this place would definitely meet your needs.

Shelly’s place was perfect for our group. The cottage was super clean and comfy. Super appreciative of the awesome water pressure to help get every bit of the dust from the trails washed off. :) We would rebook if riding in the area again. Was off season for the water activities, but there is a canoe, kayaks and small boat plus little beach area to enjoy. Really enjoyed the peacefulness of the area with morning coffee. Relaxed around the fire pit while Northern lights viewing too! Shelly was very hospitable and responsive from pre-booking to end. Would book with her again!

Alisha was VERY helpful, communicated very well and quick responses on all questions asked. My crew was in the area restoring power from the terrible ice/snow storm from the prior week. She welcomed us into her home! Thank you again for being able to help us and letting us stay!

The home was clean and a nice stay for my husband and group of guys working in the area. Would love to use their home again if we get a chance in the future.

Jeffrey had accommodated us during our stay by allowing us to pack up things due to a misunderstanding of time frame. We were expecting to be booked later but it ended up being booked for us to leave sooner. He allowed us to get things picked up before leaving. The apartment is in a good area with many walking distance restaurants which make it easy if you don’t want to drive around town. It was very nice staying there and I felt very safe in the apartment complex. There was plenty of cooking supplies which is often a hit or miss with Airbnb’s. It was very child friendly and I felt comfortable letting my one year old go around without being concerned with dangerous things for him to get into.

Very clean, cozy, excellent location, beautiful golf course, great scenery for fall tours. The home is fully equipped, bathrooms very clean, kitchen had everything we needed.

Jeffrey was a great and responsive host! The place was right near a lot of great restaurants and stores downtown Gaylord.

This space was a wonderful home base for us and our baby! Lots of floor space for her to play, and right next to a lovely coffee shop and a pizza spot. Highly recommend!

Place was extremely clean and everything as advertised. Communication was smooth. The people above us partied all night and had a dog that barked until 1am so that part sucked but not really the Airbnb’s fault.

Lovely property with an amazing and cute little cabin. Very private, we walked the woods and had bonfires. The hot tub was great! We would definitely come back!

Cozy cabin in a good location

This place is exactly what we were looking for- so cozy, clean, private, and perfect amount of amenities for a short new year’s trip! Good distance from skiing in Gaylord and trailheads for winter hikes!

This is such a cozy cabin (brand new it seems, too) and Teresa made us feel right at home! It's so quiet and peaceful at this cabin, with the lake just across the street- a short walk away. The stove was cozy and warm and the fenced in dog run on the back was really convenient! We did experience one small snafu while we were there, but Teresa was quick to respond and accommodate the concern. Thankfully there's enough service (with Verizon anyway) to usually be able to send and receive messages! Fantastic property, we hope to be back!

This was the perfect place for a large group! Plenty of space! Very clean. Quiet. My family loved it! It was close to everything! Would definitely recommend staying here!

stayed for a wedding, and it was perfect! the yard is gorgeous, surrounded by trees and pretty deep into the forest. it can be a little difficult to find in the dark- try to get there while it’s still light ! house was clean and check in was a breeze, i had friends arriving before me and it was so smooth. lots of space to hang out, plenty options to sleep, and a great fire pit- we loved papa’s cabin :)

The Gold Fox experience is one we will cherish forever. The cottage is put together to perfection. Jeff and Beth have thought through every detail and attended to features big and small to create a space to both relax and inspire. The craftsmanship of the cottage is top level, while the furnishings are cohesive, comfortable and of the finest quality. The surroundings are idillic - peaceful and private, but located within minutes of a small town. There is plenty to keep you entertained at the property - including a classic mini-golf course set amongst the trees and wildlife. The star of the show is the creek that slips by within a few yards of the cottage. With great views of the creek from the cozy front room - to the creek side deck for further immersion - its beauty soothes the soul and eases the mind. Places like the Gold Fox are rare, and it was a truly special experience for our crew that will be long remembered. Thank you Jeff and Beth for sharing this treasure with us!

Very nice cabin. Went fishing here for a long weekend with friends. It rained the whole time which was unfortunate but this Airbnb was great. Was extremely close to several different river accesses. Had everything you needed and nothing you didn't. Great place to go if you need to disconnect and just be out in the woods.
