Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Oscoda County

We had a big family reunion in the local area and this house is just what we needed for those of us coming from out of town. Very large home with plenty of space for all of us to sleep. The surrounding environment was beautiful and quiet.

We had a great time and would stay here again and again. Very clean and everything was described as it was. Anne was very quick at responding to any questions we had.

My second stay here. Looking forward to coming back.

Kathy was such a great hostess last year we came back & everything was exactly the same. Fantastic communication & home to share when in the area.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay in Lewiston. The house and location was beautiful, clean, and a welcome place after some long days outside in the cold. We enjoyed having space for all 7 of us on various floors, but a large enough of a common area to all be together for dinner and a movie. Wayne and Lindsey were friendly hosts, would recommend to others and stay here again in the future.

Jeffrey was a great and responsive host! The place was right near a lot of great restaurants and stores downtown Gaylord.

This space was a wonderful home base for us and our baby! Lots of floor space for her to play, and right next to a lovely coffee shop and a pizza spot. Highly recommend!

Place was extremely clean and everything as advertised. Communication was smooth. The people above us partied all night and had a dog that barked until 1am so that part sucked but not really the Airbnb’s fault.

I can not overstate how INCREDIBLE this property is. First, Jeff and Beth are excellent in communication. Both verbal and in the explicit information they left in the cabin as to local activities, how to use the heater and DVD/TV. Restaurant menus, etc. But the best part is that the view was breathtaking. The property is immaculately clean and the amenities were endless. We will be returning to this beautiful property again and again. Gosh, it really was SO much fun, so relaxing, comfortable and inviting. 5 stars isn't enough! You will not regret staying here!

Came here for our anniversary getaway. We we liked the listing and we were even more impressed once we got there. He's more of a stay inside person so we didn't do much outside, plus I have thin skin, so cold weather is rough on me sometimes. Inside was great though! It was very homey. I could have stayed there forever. Living room made it easy to lounge and watch the TV. Dining room gave us the perfect amount of space to eat. Kitchen set up was perfect. Same for bathroom and shower space. But, the bedroom... where did that bed come from?! Was it made from clouds?! It was the comfiest bed I have ever slept on! I would definitely rent again! maybe when it's warmer for me though. lol We picked up food from The Rusty Pine. All of the food purchased there was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The pizza from Mio pizza was really good as well. I wouldn't hesitate to eat at either place again.

Cozy cabin in a good location

This place is exactly what we were looking for- so cozy, clean, private, and perfect amount of amenities for a short new year’s trip! Good distance from skiing in Gaylord and trailheads for winter hikes!

We absolutely loved our 3 nights at Don's camp! He was so nice and informative on fishing. We did 3 kayak trips and 1 tubing trip. The boys loved fishing all day. We ate great food by the fire. The camp was very cozy and clean. If you love the Ausable, you will love staying here!

This is such a cozy cabin (brand new it seems, too) and Teresa made us feel right at home! It's so quiet and peaceful at this cabin, with the lake just across the street- a short walk away. The stove was cozy and warm and the fenced in dog run on the back was really convenient! We did experience one small snafu while we were there, but Teresa was quick to respond and accommodate the concern. Thankfully there's enough service (with Verizon anyway) to usually be able to send and receive messages! Fantastic property, we hope to be back!

John’s cabin was perfect for a family snowmobile weekend! Lots of bedroom space and enough seating in the living room for everyone. Large enough driveway for trucks and trailer. We could ride right from the cabin with trails just down the road. Getting to a gas station to fill up was also very easy. There was tons of snow and great trails. In the summer, this would also be a great place for quads or side-by-sides. John was a great host. He was very communicative and helpful.

stayed for a wedding, and it was perfect! the yard is gorgeous, surrounded by trees and pretty deep into the forest. it can be a little difficult to find in the dark- try to get there while it’s still light ! house was clean and check in was a breeze, i had friends arriving before me and it was so smooth. lots of space to hang out, plenty options to sleep, and a great fire pit- we loved papa’s cabin :)
