La casa es muy amplia y bien adaptada para una visita con niños pequeños. Me encantó que el área de piscina estuviera protegida con portones, los niños podían jugar en la terraza sin que los adultos tuviéramos esa tensión con la piscina. La comunicación excelente, oportuna y de respuesta rápida. Incluso nos logramos poner de acuerdo porque mi hermano llevó a su perrita de sorpresa, pero Sandra fue muy comprensiva. El único detalle es que la ubicación que se muestra en la plataforma nos llevó a una calle de lastre en una zona donde no había señal de celular, mientras que la casa era súper accesible y con calles asfaltadas. Consejo: pedir la ubicación directamente a la persona encargada antes de salir y no seguir la que sale por acá.

Cecile and Carla are the most welcoming hosts who made our stay very enjoyable. The property is stunning - we especially loved the pickleball court and infinity pool. This place is perfect if you’re looking for a relaxing retreat away. There’s a lot to do in the neighboring towns but also a lot to do should you want more of a staycation experience given how expansive and beautiful her place is. While it can be difficult to learn the way up the mountain initially, Cecile was incredibly helpful and the roads held up well despite the rain. She anticipated our every need such as ensuring we had spare lamps in case of power outages with storms that are typical in Costa Rica. Please follow her instructions and get that 4x4! Also know that it is at least a 4hr drive from SJO. I highly recommend booking at least a week long stay here - it’s truly a jungle oasis with the best hosts who make you feel right at home and go above and beyond. Thanks for an incredible stay! 10/10 would book again.

Our stay at Daniel's country home was incredibly relaxing and peaceful. The vast property offered exceptional privacy, nestled alongside a stunning river perfect for leisurely swims. The meticulously maintained swimming pool, filled with pristine river water, added an extra layer of luxury to our stay. Inside the home, a refreshing breeze flowed through the spacious farm windows, enhancing the tranquil atmosphere. The surrounding gardens teeming with beautiful birds further added to the charm of the place. We found the showers to be consistently hot and the beds provided utmost comfort, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Daniel's hospitality truly exceeded our expectations. He offered invaluable recommendations and remained highly responsive throughout our stay. The cleanliness of the property was impeccable, and the well-stocked kitchen made meal preparation a breeze. Our experience at Daniel's country retreat was nothing short of delightful.

It is a location surround by nature! I saw monkeys and toucans during my stay. The location is very solid for the price. The home itself is very nice with all you need. The only thing is you will have to deal with bugs, like most of Costa Rica, but especially at night if lights are on because of the area.

La casa y la experiencia impecable, nos gustó mucho y la estadía fue muy tranquila, excelente casa vacacional. Solo unos pequeños detalles que tomar en cuenta, el lugar cuenta con muy poca señal para Kölbi, casi nula. Con Movistar sí llega un poco más de señal. La pantalla no conectaba a ninguna red, por lo cual, no se pudieron ver películas. Le pregunté al anfitrión cómo funcionaba el Jacuzzi y no respondió. Hasta el 3 día, el jacuzzi llegó a una temperatura tibia. Todo lo demás, la piscina, habitaciones, juegos de mesa, súper bien y hermoso.

The hosts really make this a stand out experience. I am grateful to Mari and her family for the warm welcome. The house is well equipped and very charming. The location is convenient for day trips around the peninsula and the river is an easy walk down the road. There are two pulperias that had all I needed for my month stay. Not controlable by the host but, on the weekend nights the music from the cantina can be loud and last until 2am. It is also on a road with many motorcycles and cars.

The 2 room flat- Esteban's Boca Vieja was peaceful and relaxing. It has all the amenities and is a 5 minute walk to really excellent restaurants. I felt right at home. The air conditioning is great and there is a small convenience store across the street. It was easy to find and I would totally stay there again. Thank you!

Un lugar bonito, céntrico y tranquilo, cerca de muchas playas y mucha naturaleza alrededor. Necesitan mejorar un poco el higiene en el área de los utensilios de la cocina y mejorar en su varias cositas para que el lugar sea más seguro, pero en sí, está bien. Tampoco había televisión a pesar de que queríamos un lugar con TV… :(

This was a lovely quiet area just on the edge of town, easy to walk to grab coffee or to the atm. Easy walk to Uvita waterfall to the river. The main noises I heard were construction down the road and happy animals playing with their people, otherwise it was very peaceful. The room was very clean and the fan was plenty to stay comfortable. The kitchen was accesible and had the basics handy. A great place to explore Uvita.

A pesar de que está un poquito alejado de la playa tiene una ubicación conveniente, a minutos de restaurantes, gimnasios y supermercados. Lugar limpio, la cocina amplia y conveniente. Lugar tranquilo para descansar y relajarse. No hay aire acondicionado pero tiene ventilador y la casa buena ventilación natural. El precio muy cómodo y la anfitriona súper amable y agradable! Lo recomiendo

Sabrina & Edu couldn’t have been better hosts! Their “end of the world” paradise is quiet & peaceful. Their home cooked meals were delicious & plentiful. The bungalows had thick netting so we could feel the cool night air as we slept. It was fabulous to wake up to all of the birdsongs every morning, They made a special effort to show us birds & animals. We really enjoyed the use of their boat to explore the River where their diverse ecosystem shines in the jungle. We also liked taking the boat on the lagoon to the beach. If you want a quiet and peaceful getaway, this is the place. However, Sabrina is happy to help you with any tours (and there are quite a few to choose from). We will always treasure our time here. :)

This was our family’s 5th trip to Pavones . We like to try different places and locations . Giselle’s home was beautiful , spacious and very comfortable. We had a smaller group and it didn’t feel overwhelming as it’s a big place . Outdoor spaces were amazing , and a quick walk to essentially a private beach . (Only saw 1 person over 8 days ) a short walk to La Pina restaurant for a pizza or dinner and only 3-5 minutes from various spots near Pavones point. I will say this was perhaps the most well equipped kitchen and linens we have experienced yet . Oliver the caretaker was quite helpful and his English is fair . Overall a very positive experience.
