Great place to stay and a superb base to explore Orkney from. Will stay again.

Lovely setting. Despite being on a busy main road we did not feel this disturbed our peace, slept well on comfy beds. Great for walking to Stones of Stenness and Ring of Brodgar. Also for Maeshowe. There are limited footpaths but walking on the road felt safe as all vehicles gave room to us. Bus services were good and on the whole on time - a day pass was good value Only problem was that we had not brought food (no vehicle ) so on arrival had hoped to eat at hotel nearby, unfortunately they did not serve food. Fortunately there was a very welcome welcome pack from Kayleigh which was much appreciated

Stunning place - both views and interior. The pictures truly do not do it justice. incredibly spacious. Super comfy beds. Hosts very welcoming. We had everything we needed - and really enjoyed the jacuzzi bath! Can highly recommend.

What an idyllic location! And what a perfect place to explore Orkney from! The Croft was warm and cosy and fully equipped. As a bonus it offered a spectacular view across Scapa Flow to Hoy. We would highly recommend it.
