Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ormont-Dessus

Our family of four had a pleasant stay at Yukiyo's residence. The location was advantageous and well-suited for commuting to various destinations. While we encountered a minor inconvenience with a malfunctioning washing machine, Yukiyo made commendable efforts to address the issue. The house was exceptionally clean and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. However, we encountered a challenge with the provision of garbage bags, as Switzerland utilizes taxed garbage bags and the house only provided one large bag for our five-night stay. This posed a slight inconvenience, as additional bags needed to be purchased in bulk from supermarkets. Overall, our experience was satisfactory.

A charming place, surrounded by greenery and cows, ideal for relaxing. Isabelle, our hostess, is a very welcoming and smiling person, who was able to inform us well. The only small inconvenience of our stay was the lack of outdoor light to enjoy the terrace in the evening, or maybe we couldn't find it. Anyway, it didn't spoil our very pleasant weekend.

Spending time at Sabrina's is so comforting. It's the second time for us, and it felt lukewarm we never left we found everything we needed, and more. The view from the rooms each morning were cleaning off the fuzzy brains we came with from work. Very well positioned, the location allows reaching all important travel marks, within short drives or walls. Interlaken being 10 mins away, and supermarkets being open for longer hours than usually are in Seitzerland, allows proper refill of the fridge, in case cooking is desired for the family. Kitchen worth mentioning is equipped with performant appliances, and kitchenware completes fully the need one may have; both for small families as well as 6 persons as the max capacity is. Very friendly and helpful hosts, and a pretty, family-friendly place with a gorgeous view. Very easy to access by public transport (or car) and with stores and a bakery a short walk away.

This was a lovely chalet with the most incredible views. Lots of space and the bonus of toys for our 6/9 year old grand children. We found having a car great to drive them 7 minutes to ski school but there were ski buses. Shops within a 10 minute walk. For us the nursery slope with a drag lift 2 minutes walk at the end of the road for tobogganing/skiing was a massive bonus for late afternoon fun. What more can you say when your 9 year old grandson says it was the best holiday he had ever had a didn’t want to leave (neither did we).

The stay with Amandine went very well! The setting of the accommodation is quiet and very nice, the accommodation is spacious and clean.

Great stay in Switzerland with Alina who is very responsive and kind! The photos are a good fit for the listing and the details from the host were so helpful. In addition, Alina had left a little Easter treat for our grandson! I would highly recommend it!

Joanne is a great host. She was able to troubleshoot us at the last moment following a bad experience in another listing. She gave us tips for restaurants and other things to do nearby. The accommodation is very clean, well decorated, very cocooning, it feels good. The bed is large and very comfortable. The kitchen is complete, there is a dishwasher and washing machine if needed in the bathroom. From the terrace you have views of the mountain. You can spend your nights in Joanne's place without a second thought!

Kristina was extremely helpful in helping me to find transfer options from Milan. She was proactive in making recommendations for restaurants in the town and checked in to ensure that we were all having a great holiday.

The stay at Patrizia's apartment was excellent. Especially the communication, the tidy impeccable apartment as well as the two large and cozy balconies were great. The somewhat outdated coffee machine may no longer meet today's needs. However, I was amazed at how well the coffee ended and this without capsules. happy to be back in Patrizia's apartment.
