House holiday rentals in Orleans County

We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of space this listing has. It fit all of us very nicely, and was quite peacful being tucked away in the pines. Great location if you need a place to stay if you are skiing at Jay Peak, only about 8 minutes away. There was a small grocery store about 4 miles down the road and a cozy little restaurant called Omakase only a couple minutes away. I would definitely stay here again.

They were truly wonderful hosts to us in their wonderful home --- going the extra mile with snacks, breakfast foods and even a welcoming fire in the fireplace. We could NOT have been made to feel more welcome and comfortable. THANK YOU, Gail!!!!!

Michael's home is just perfect. Clearly they put a tremendous amount of thoughtful consideration into the design and decoration of their home. It has everything you need and is charming and comfortable. We can't wait to stay again!

We had a great time staying with Bill and Nancy. The house was spotless, exceptionally well-equipped if you want to cook for yourself, and was a very homey spot for our family celebration. The location was beautiful -- right by the river -- and was convenient to most any adventures you'd want to undertake in the Northeast Kingdom. Only note: the stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep and would pose problems for people with mobility challenges.

Cozy ski in ski out condo right at the lower mountain lift. Lisa’s place was clean, easy to find and provided excellent access to the great skiing that Burke Mountain has to offer. Bonus feature was being able to watch the snow-cats work on the mountain trails at night. 10/10 would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Joe's place last weekend! The location was great (right at the base of Burke mountain) and easy to drive into town or hop over to some of the mountain biking trails. Joe was extremely friendly and responsive and wanted to make sure everything about our stay was perfect. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was communicated and Rod and Lulu went above and beyond to make our stay special. This will be our first choice in Vermont to stay again.

Beautifully decorated house with all the historical quirks! We loved the museum and accessibility of the Northeast Kingdom. Plenty of space for the dogs.

We stayed here on a snowmobile trip. House is right off the VAST system. Parker Pie is less than 1 mile away by sled and has good food and trail side gas. Place was exactly what we needed; private cabin that could sleep a group of guys after a long day riding.

Nick’s place is awesome! My boyfriend & I stayed up there for a long weekend and it did not disappoint. We felt comfortable from the moment we walked in, the cabin is very clean and inviting. The property is as pictured, and even better in person. Nick was also very responsive and helpful with whatever we needed. We will definitely be coming back, thanks for a great stay!

We had an incredible stay at Dunbar’s house. The house itself is up a hill off the main road and feels very quiet and remote. If it is winter, you will need AWD to get up the snowy driveway. The house itself was wonderful and had a very cozy atmosphere with a nice fireplace. It is only a 4 minute drive to Hill Farmstead Brewing, 8 minutes to Jasper Hill Farms (cheese), and a few minutes to Nordic ski trails in Greensboro. We loved the house for our cozy winter retreat and we would absolutely stay here again

this was my second time staying at the airbnb, my girlfriend and I absolutely love the house & property. The locals are extremely nice & helpful as well. We had a flat tire and took it to Hays Auto and even though they were busy they took care of us and were extremely kind. The house is gorgeous and extremely private. Very clean as well when we arrived. Scott was amazing just like last time on if we needed anything or if we got up there with no problems! My girlfriend and I will also choose this airbnb when we stay in vermont. Greensboro & It’s locals have a special place in our heart! You won’t be disappointed if you stay there! ps go to blackbird bistro! their food is amazing, great environment and only around 15minutes from the Airbnb it’s our go to!

My family had a fabulous time at Israel’s place. The getaway was just what we needed to bond and recharge. Using the hot tub under the stars with snow on the ground was a truly magical experience. We spent our lazy days sitting by the fire, playing board games and cooking as a family. We did take a trip to Lake Willoughby for a hike. It was amazing. It reminded me of a Norwegian fjord. Five stars all around. I would definitely recommend and would rent again in the future from Israel.

Quiet location, had the entire marina to ourselves, walkable to some really nice restaurants…..

Perfect place. Our family was very comfortable there. Extra touch, like having a Christmas tree up in living room, made an even greater experience. Branden was super quick with responses and helpful.

We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin on the lake in Eden, Vermont. It was the perfect family getaway for us and our kids (ages 9 and 12). The cabin was super comfortable and had everything we needed, but the best part was definitely being right on the lake. We spent our days kayaking and fishing—non-stop. The kids had the best time and didn’t want to leave. It was peaceful, relaxing, and full of simple fun. Inside, the pool table was a huge hit with the kids and gave us something extra to enjoy in the evenings. The owner was incredibly kind, accommodating, and easy to communicate with, which made everything even better. You can tell they really care about making sure guests have a great experience. At night, we played games, relaxed, and just enjoyed the quiet. The whole place had a great vibe—cozy, clean, and easy to settle into. If you’re looking for a low-key, nature-filled escape with the family, this place is a total win. We’d love to come back!

Tracy's house was perfect for two families - 4 adults and 5 kids. Plenty of space for being together or for finding a quiet space. The kitchen/living room was really great for hanging out - cooking, watching TV, just chatting. The beds were really comfortable, the bathrooms quite nice. We loved the house!

Burkeview is a wonderfully cozy cabin in the peaceful countryside of the Northeast Kingdom. It was exactly what we were looking for -- a quiet location close to the NEK hiking trails. We thoroughly enjoyed mornings on the porch in the sunshine with mountain views. We also found the kitchen well-supplied with everything we needed to cook meals (spices included!). The bed was very comfortable, the Internet was plenty fast, and we enjoyed the extra conveniences of being able to use the washing machine and park in a garage. On top of all that, Terry provided a thoughtful welcome gift of fresh-baked zucchini bread and maple syrup. We so loved our stay and would absolutely come back when we return to the area.

We had a lovely time at Brad and Rose’s lake house. The views were great and we had fantastic weather. The place was very clean and comfortable. We hope to be back again someday!

Kevin's place is by far the nicest Airbnb we've ever stayed at. Everything far exceeded our expectations, and was even more beautiful than any picture could do justice. The house itself is large enough to sleep eight (we were only four), but still felt cozy enough that we never felt lost in it. The entire property is flawlessly clean and perfectly maintained. It's like staying at a postcard quality getaway. Lastly, Kevin is incredibly thoughtful in his dealings with guests, and doesn't overlook a single detail. Thank you so much for an incredible stay!

We loved our time spent at the Glass House. Beautiful location and easy access to all that area has to offer. The hosts were generous and very responsive. We will be back!

Mom's Place has everything I would hope for in an airBnb. Lots of bedrooms to spread out in, a nice kitchen with tools and supplies, and a good dining room table. Communication was fine, and everything to do with the home was exemplary.
