Monthly Rentals in Orkney

This was the fifth time i've stayed in this little cottage and it's a home away from home for me now. Its in a gorgeous location and always super clean. Thank you :-)

Of 60 or so places we have stayed at Airbnb, this has been the best Airbnb experience we’ve had! Given that this is a special trip (our honeymoon, which we had not mentioned before showing up) we feel very fortunate indeed! Stewart was an absolutely phenomenal host. So thoughtful and kind. But not imposing or ‘ever present’; just enough for a nice chat when we bump into one another out in the garden, and for some wonderful home-baked treats :) Stewart’s advice about getting last-minute tickets to Maeshowe (just a few minutes down the lane) was spot on and was the only reason we were able to visit. The place is really relaxed and quiet, a place to really unwind. It is a perfect base for exploring these wonderful islands, centrally located with all that’s needed just a 10 minute drive or a short bike ride away. We will certainly be back for an anniversary, as this place holds a special place in our hearts.

Stayed with a group of 5 of us but the house never felt crowded. We arrived on the late ferry after dark and Lyndsey was kind enough to leave the lights on to make it easier to find. Her directions were very easy to follow too and we had no trouble finding it. The location is just stunning, we saw a variety of birds and watched a family of otters going about their day while having our own breakfast at the kitchen table. Lyndsey also left us a wonderful box of welcome goodies and there were plenty of towels and blankets. The house is very close to plenty of sites to see. All in all a perfect week away and we would absolutely stay again! Thank you so much.

Erik was very friendly and helpful! Had an amazing conversation with him during check in. Furthermore made sure i was right at home and made sure to check on me while i was staying in his place. Could not recommend this place enough
