Monthly Rentals in Orkney

We had a wonderful stay, the bungalow was perfect. Orkney is a very special place, the archaeology is overwhelming. I particularly liked walking around the Ring of Brodgar at 6 in the morning!! Beautiful beaches, so much to see. I will be back 😀😀😀

Simon was a great host. He answered my messages very quickly. He also made sure we knew how everything worked. He gave my husband loads of information about what to do and where to eat. The house itself is so charming. It just oozes character. But it is also really practical. We had a lot of stuff that we needed to wash and dry and this house was perfect. Loved our meals in the cosy kitchen. And such a peaceful spot. No hesitation to recommend.

What a gorgeous and peaceful location! Westray is a gem, and the pod is located near everything you’d want to see. An easy drive or bike ride to Pierowall (which has a couple of really good markets and restaurants), close to Castle o’Burrian for an exceptional puffinry (if you’re there in spring). The pod is well-equipped and comfy, looking out on the bay of Toquoy. Easy access from the Kirkwall ferry, and a short ferry ride to Papay (recommended!!). Oh and a 90-second plane ride there, too! Five stars!

Langwell was my wee haven. Very private and my dog loved to sit looking out the front window to the amazing view while I just loved the treat of coffee in bed while looking out to sea. Very clean and warm and well stocked with tea and coffee as well as the full complement of apps in the telly so nice to snuggle in watching a film when Orkney decides to be blustery!! Would really recommend- great value all round!!
