Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Oregon

James’s home is one of the nicest Air B’nBs I’ve ever rented. Everything was immaculately clean, well-appointed, comfortable, and James was easy to communicate with. The kitchen has everything one could need, the bed was like a cloud, the hot tub was perfection, and the large wall of windows overlooking the beach are even more impressive in person. Would love to come back for another visit in the future.

Absolutely stunning property! So beautiful and peaceful. It had everything we were looking for with the hot tub, fireplaces, fire pit, and gorgeous view of the river. We opened the wind at night and fell asleep to the sound of the rushing waters. Cannot wait to go back and would live there if we could. Idyllic in every way.

Was lucky to snag this place so close to the long weekend. Beautiful location right on the river and far enough away from any neighbors and the road that it feels like you are all by yourself. Well stocked kitchen and good water pressure/hot water. We were also successful in catching a couple of trout! Hope to be back soon.

What a spectacular location - nestled in the heart of Smith Rock State Park - a stones throw from the Crooked River. Don’t miss hot-tubbing — watching the sunset with Smith peaks silhouette in the foreground then tracking stars and satellites after dark. Truly a one-of-a-kind experience!

What an incredible place - and an incredible host! The house looks lovely in the photos and property listing, but when you see this place in person...Hoooo! It truly is breathtaking. We arrived late at night and were welcomed to the beautiful sound of the ocean crashing onto the beach literally outside the back porch area. We felt so welcomed by Anissa and her staff. A cute chalkboard welcomed us personally, and a treat to celebrate my birthday was truly magical. I loved having a spacious place with two areas to enjoy - with the main living room focused solely on looking out and across the Pacific Ocean. There is no TV or anything to block it. The other living room area was perfect and well-suited for watching TV, movies, and more. The bedrooms and the hot tub were FANFREAKINTASTIC. As a bonus, Anissa was available and accepted our invite to come over, say hey, and enjoy chit-chatting and a glass of wine! I have a new favorite spot and new favorite host on the Oregon coast now.

The Airbnb was amazing! Better than the photos! It was so peaceful we didn’t want to leave. The kitchen is fully stocked-which is rare. The bed was comfortable (we like non firm beds). The River was so relaxing to listen to. It was private and we didn’t see a soul. The place is so unique. Also, we expected no service but it was a welcome surprise that we had wifi so we could plan our day. The road is very long (~40mins) and we had no issues finding it- listen to the hosts written directions and you’ll have no issues. The road is very beautiful though! Book this place. It’s on my top list and we will return. P.s my dog loved the yard.

This place is a gem! It’s the best Airbnb we’ve been to. The property is gorgeous - such a wonderful place to relax with a spa and multiple areas to enjoy the outside along with an incredible view of the Rogue River. We spent hours on the dock - reading, eating, & sunbathing. We loved watching the geese and ducks with their babies on the water. The studio is super cute and had everything we needed including the most comfortable bed. The location is perfect. It is such a peaceful, quiet spot yet we were 5 minutes from the cutest town with amazing restaurants and shops. Kirk is so friendly - a wonderful and gracious host! We would love to go back!

We have stayed in dozens of AirBnB lodgings over the years, both in the states and internationally, and this stay was easily the best. We loved the hosts, the views, and the simple comforts of this home away from home, and we look forward to staying here again in the future. Allison and Forrest are treasures...and we love the animals too.

We had such a lovely stay! Carol and Mark were wonderful hosts—super kind, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with. Everything about the check-in and stay was smooth, with very clear instructions that made it all feel effortless. As a sweet surprise, they even welcomed us with homemade banana bread (which was delicious). It’s those little touches that make a place feel extra special. Highly recommend staying here if you get the chance!

Clean and cozy with beautiful views! Easy check-in with clear instructions and I’ve never had a host check on us after we checked-in to make sure everything was ok until Dan and Teresa did so. Shower water pressure was great and lots of clean towels. My wife and I sat at the kitchen table for a couple hours watching the waves as we played Gin Rummy with the deck of cards we found in the desk. Absolutely love the place and give it a 10/10!! Next time my wife and I need a place to stay at the coast, we will definitely be back!!

I cannot say enough great things about this gem of a place. The views are spectacular… I could have stayed for days on end just enjoying the peace and the beauty of the ocean. The space has a quaint cottage feel, and it was perfect for a short getaway. Made me wish it was longer! The close proximity and access to the beach is also a huge plus! Dreaming of going back someday!

This tiny hidden gem is just perfect if you like things to be walkable, convenient, and relatively serene with beautiful surroundings. The apartment does directly connect to a restaurant, so there is some noise, but we never really minded. It was a reminder to go out and do stuff. We saw harbor seals, took Carrie’s whale watching tour ( and saw several beautiful Gray whales), and ate locally as often as possible!

This stay was amazing. Baby friendly. My wife and I enjoyed the views and the easy access to all the shops and food. 10/10. would recommend to anyone thinking of staying here.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for the renaissance fair and it was so enjoyable! Natalie and her husband were such sweet hosts making sure everything was perfect for us. Their property was very peaceful with the pond at their backyard and different kinds of wildlife! I highly recommend using their place for a vacation :)

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay overlooking stunning mountains and beautiful forests. Yi’s house was gorgeous, immaculate, and spacious enough for two families to have their privacy and down time. The house is surrounded by hiking and biking trails, had a great community pool to enjoy, and a rooftop hot tub to enjoy the starry nights in. Would definitely book again the next time we’re in town.

Dmitri and Viktoriya's place was amazing. They have taken great care to equip the place with everything a large group needs. They even had a cute welcome basket setup for us with snacks The instructions for everything were super clear and they were also super responsive on all our questions and asks. I would highly recommend this place and would love to come stay here again

What a great stay! The location was perfect for walking to downtown! Just what I was looking for. The host was super friendly and responded quickly every time. The instructions were very thorough and the unit was cute and cozy. I hope to stay here again in the future!

We liked staying at the house in which actually the family was living. We felt as if we were welcomed as their family guest. The culture was akin to mine. The artisan wood floor and ceiling made a huge difference on our spirit. Very beautiful house!

Absolutely loved our stay at Hex Odyssey! The house was stunning and equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, making our arrival and departure a breeze. Our host, Lance, provided incredibly clear instructions, which made navigating the property easy. What truly made our experience special was Lance's hospitality. He was not only friendly but also incredibly responsive to any questions we had. We were pleasantly surprised to find a welcome basket and a bottle of Argyle sparkling wine waiting for us, which added a lovely touch to our stay. It was evident that he genuinely cared about ensuring we had a wonderful time. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Hex Odyssey to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!
