“Small and very charming...perfect for getting off the grid. The decor and feel of the place takes your mind to simpler times and is really quaint and relaxing. The port wine from the hobby vineyard was absolutely fantastic and a very nice extra touch. The resident four-legged host was so pleasant and sweet. There is no way to cook inside or boil water. The area for food prep and the mini-fridge are very small, so just be prepared to use the grill as sole source of any cooking. We brought a cooler stocked with pre-made kebabs and precut veggies for grilling, and that was a perfect choice for being simple and easy but very tasty on the grill. Our sandwhich items, coffee creamer and cheeses fit well in the mini-fridge. You will want to bring packaged items for breakfast since there is no way to cook/boil. We used this as an opportunity to splurge on some pastry items that we wouldn't normally eat. Sitting out on the patio in the early mornings with a cup of coffee and a yummy cinnamon roll, listening to the birds and watching little vineyard visitors was just perfect. We will certainly return. This was an easy, simple and relaxing way to slow down, get away from the bustle and enjoy a charming setting.”
We would like to share our cabin at the edge of the woods with you. We are truly in the country and you'll enjoy a quiet night far away from the city. The cows, chickens, and horses will welcome you too. We also have a park area with a stream flowing through it for you to enjoy. I have a no pets policy inside the cabin. (Sorry, no exceptions). We do not rent the cabin out on a monthly basis. You may book a maximum of 10 days at a time.
“Truly a hidden gem. The location is quiet and peaceful. The cabin is clean and welcoming. There were butterflies that greeted us as we drove down the path to the cabin. There were cinnamon rolls awaiting our arrival :) . The donkey and the cows came right up to us when we were out to watch the sunrise. The park was awesome and the walking trail. We found the waterfall. We had one minor issue during our stay but once I contact the host it was taken care of immediately. We went to the healing spring and we got items from the healing spring store. The owner asked where we were staying and the moment I told him he asked what treat did Ruth leave for us. We definitely unplugged for the 2 nights we stayed. I was accompanied by my 2 adult daughter’s and my 17 year old son. They had such a great time we played board games and laugh so much. They said we wish you had booked a longer stay. This truly was a memorable birthday for me. I can’t wait to book again.”
