Monthly Rentals in Orange County

Great location. Close to a bunch of wineries, bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants and some of the best fried chicken you will ever have at ice house. Martha was a wonderful host. Internet is a little spotty but Martha gave clear instructions on how to reset the modem. Highly recommend.

This was my third time staying in Cynthia's cottage so, of course, I was familiar with the location. The location is very easy to find and close (5 min drive) to downtown Orange for restaurants, other things to do. What I probably find best about this cottage is how peaceful its surroundings are and that's true even though you are pretty close to town. My wife and I really enjoyed sitting on both the front and back porches as the sun rose and set. Since our home is in an urban environment, we also enjoyed little things like hearing the cows moo in the morning. Highly recommended.

We've stayed with Hillary and Steve before. Besides being absolutely lovely people, they provide such comfortable accommodations in such an idealic setting that we made this trip to Orange just to spend more time at their place. Our dogs love the incredibly spacious fenced in yard. We do too - just sitting watching the sunset, coffee and breakfast on the back patio, or the beautiful landscaping. It is gorgeous and peaceful.

This was our second stay(2 mos.) at Jene’s…and we love this place. We watched the trees change into their fall colors and did lots of hiking around Skyline Drive…visited historic homes and ruins around the area…and even did some volunteer work in Charlottesville. The house has a fully stocked kitchen for cooking, comfortable beds, wonderful deck for viewing the beautiful surroundings, and great a/c and heat for variable temperatures. Jene and Patrick are the best hosts and so enjoyable to visit with! We are already trying to figure out when our next long term stay will be!
