Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Oppland

This site is the perfect mix between an ancient cabin and the comforts of modernity. We stayed at a time when the garden is not at its best, but still a very nice place. We had a chance to roast some sausages outside while enjoying the sound of the river and birds. The cleanliness of the place is amazing. We recommend the place 100%.

We had a wonderful stay at Victoria’s house in Nittedal! Communication with Victoria was excellent both before and during our vacation. She was very helpful and gave us great tips. The house was perfect for us (2 adults, 2 kids aged 4 and 9). It was super clean, tidy, and beautifully furnished. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was excellently equipped, the living room very cozy, and the bathroom offered both a shower and a lovely bathtub. The location was ideal: about 30 minutes by rental car to both the airport and the center of Oslo. A sledding hill and the Vallingkollen ski area, where you can rent ski equipment, were only 15 minutes away – we had a great time experiencing the Norwegian winter there. Our kids loved it! We also visited the Technology Museum, the Paradox Museum, and the Natural History Museum with the kids – all three are highly recommended. It was such a relaxing and beautiful vacation. We had a wonderful extended weekend in the home. The hosts were extremely sweet and welcoming. The place is exactly as pictured.

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

We had a great stay at Trond's place. Everything was in order when we arrived and the house exceeded expectations. We would be happy to come back at a later date.

It was a very cozy house that contained everything that was necessary. Was nice and tidy, and just what we needed. A nice house that is nicely located. The host responded to all inquiries quickly and was accommodating.

We had a wonderful stay at Julia’s place. The house is beautifully designed, spotless, and feels just like home. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and BBQs, and our kids loved exploring the nearby forest and relaxing by the bonfire. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway and scenic hikes. Sadly, the weather kept us from using the kayak and SUP, but we still had a great time. Highly recommended!

This was our 4th time staying here. We were two families with children ages 10-13. The kids love the place. We follow us like home. Very convenient location

We had a really lovely stay. The location is amazing directly on the ski slope with beautiful views. Fred was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and quick to respond. Remember snow chains - the apartment is located high ⛷️

Another great stay in Geilo. Lene is a great communicator and her apartment is the perfect place for a family trip to the slopes.

Great place, quiet and peaceful. The apartment has everything you need, including wood burning that I think is extra cozy. Love that there is a separate terrace and a small garden spot that is additionally fenced - perfect for the dog! Recommended to stay here, especially for those who love nature :)

We had a fabulous stay in Marita’s retro apartment. We immediately felt at home and enjoyed warming our feet by the fire place. The retro furniture and old radio (radio vinyl playing as we came in) totally added to the experience! The kitchen is fully equipped and we could use the washing machine. Marita was very responsive and friendly. We can highly recommend this place!

We felt right at home. The house is beautifully situated above Favang with a great view. We were greeted nicely and had everything we needed. Communication with Julia was excellent. We had enough wood for the stove to make ourselves comfortable. We were able to spend a nice week skiing. For cross-country skiing, Hafjell is better suited and also only 30 minutes away. We will be happy to come back.

We had a super winter holiday at Gålå, short distance to both the hill and ski tracks! Super nice cabin with everything you need, and Anders&Marit are super nice hosts! Thank you so much for us!

It was truly a lovely cabin! Many thanks! We were there in winter, with four adults, two children (ages 5 and 7), and a dog. The cabin isn't really that big, but is very thoughtful. Therefore, you can be quite a lot of people, without feeling cramped. Toll road: Unfortunately, you have to pay 80,- every time you drive up to the cabin. Ski: Trails are nearby. To the alpine slope we had to take a car. Deck: Beautiful views, fire pit, … Kitchen: Equipped with all the "usual". Coffee maker for filter coffee, dishwasher etc etc. Missing microwave, and it can get a little cramped in the cabinets, fridge, and freezer as there are some cases from there before. But it will be solved. Living room: Hangs along with the kitchen. Large sofa, TV, fire place. Very cozy. 3 bedrooms downstairs: 1 with bunk bed, 1 with single bed, 1 with double bed. The double bed has one large mattress of 160 cm, so you should bring a large sheet. Loft: Large loft with 2 beds and 1 sofa that you reach with the help of a good ladder.

What a great experience it was to spend a few winter days in this cozy hytte! Pink-coloured sky in the morning, skiing in fresh snow as well as on freshly prepared tracks, breathtaking views of the Rondane mountains, lazy evenings with warm food and books and even such rarities as the northern lights and nacreous clouds were the highlights of our stay. The hosts were very friendly, responsive and helpful.

Super nice place to stay. We even went for a third time. This time both cabins rented with my sister. Halvard was very flexible in thinking along to rent both cabins on a date. It felt like coming home to peace in this great place.

The whole stay was great and Ana was super attentive to make sure we made the most out of the fantastic cabin. Location great with loads to do and yet still in range of Hemsedal ski area! Couldn’t fault the accomodation, living area or outside facilities and Ana was a great host. WE WILL BE BACK!!!
