Our holiday let, built as a habbedashery in 1898, has a living room (TV, free WiFi, wood burning stove) and equipped kitchen on the ground floor. Two bedrooms and one bathroom (with washing mashine) upstairs. The house has double glazing, accommodates four people and is decorated in Scandinavian style. Located on the old main street (now a pedestrian zone), in our charming wooden town Lærdalsøyri. Food shops, bakery, cafes and services right around the corner. Bed linnen and towels are included.

Behind the house (20 metres) you'll find the river Hallingdalselva, where you can fish for trouts. You may borrow a canoe or a small rowing boat. Koselig kårstue på gård. Olavstøga is a two-storey log house from 1840. We have spent a good six months renovating the entire house inside. Here you will find all modern facilities, but all in the old style, so you get a good, old-fashioned atmosphere in this old, venerable house. Outside there is a large porch with dining area. Beautiful view of the lake Vangsmjøsa and the surrounding mountains - here you can find peace!

This house is located in Valdres, in between Oslo and Bergen. Surrounding area give many oppurtunities both summer and winter. Border of Jotunheimen, about 45 min drive to Bygdin. Also Sognefjord is within 1 h reach. Distanse to Fagernes and Beitostølen is about 45 min. The famous old Kongevegen is within short distance, both the spectacular Kvamskleiva and crossing Filefjell.
