Whether you are passing through or want to explore Gudbrandsdalen, you will find a comfortable and convenient base with everything you need for a pleasant stay.

Villa Leonore: Cottage with beachfront on Helgøya

For those who really want to experience the best Helgøya has to offer. Villa Leonore is a summer house built for tramway director Dybwad's wife Leonore in 1915. A nice garden leads down to a private beach by Mjøsa. Beautiful perennial bed and a separate kitchen garden to supply yourself with. You can relax on the porch with a good book, and make delicious local and organic food, with the farm's and the area's own products. There are great hiking opportunities on Helgøya, for walking, running and cycling.

Here you can relax and enjoy the sunset from both the porch and the sofa. The house has all the facilities and is suitable for couples. In the surrounding area you can find nice hiking options and several exciting activities. In Otta city center you will find, among other things, Amfi shopping center and the delicatessen Døkakjøtt.

Our holiday let, built as a habbedashery in 1898, has a living room (TV, free WiFi, wood burning stove) and equipped kitchen on the ground floor. Two bedrooms and one bathroom (with washing mashine) upstairs. The house has double glazing, accommodates four people and is decorated in Scandinavian style. Located on the old main street (now a pedestrian zone), in our charming wooden town Lærdalsøyri. Food shops, bakery, cafes and services right around the corner. Bed linnen and towels are included.

Sorrounded by the national parks Breheimen, Reinheimen and Jotunheimen, and short distance to Lom, Galdhøpiggen, Stryn, Geiranger and Sogn. Peaceful and quiet, with a good distance from the neighbours. Close to nature with animal and birdlife right up to the stairs. Hiking right outside the door, everything from easy hikes in flat terrain on the way to many peaks of 2000 meters. 230 waters and 250km. rivers to fish in. Behind the house (20 metres) you'll find the river Hallingdalselva, where you can fish for trouts. You may borrow a canoe or a small rowing boat. Koselig kårstue på gård. Huset er bygget i 1905 og har interiør fra århundreskiftet til ca 1970. Store, lyse og luftige soverom i 2.etasje. Kjøkken og stue med vedovn og kamin i 1.etasje. Huset ligger like ved Hallingdalselva med flotte bade- og fiskemuligheter. Du kan låne robåt eller kanoer. Vi snakker norsk, engelsk og spansk.

Nice hiking opportunities both along the river, and in the great surrounding mountains in Lærdalsdalen. 4 km to Lærdal center where you will find shops, Norsk Villakssenter, Sogn Art Center, Motorikkpark etc. Lærdal is located at E16, midway between Oslo and Bergen, and with a short distance to Aurland/Flåm, Hemsedal, Sogndal and Årdal.
