As 3 generations staying in the apartment, we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay very much and would comeback again. We had some trouble finding the right lift as whilst there were many long instructions, sometimes shorter, simpler instructions are easier to consume when balancing grandparents and excited kids :-). That aside, the apartment is spacious and had everything we needed, the balcony was great and the whole place comfortable. Thanks very much Susan for a lovely stay!

Great value for money, the QT hotel is just down the road, but much preferred the space and amenities available in the apartment. Plus the price was much better. Beautifully styled with quality inclusions. Location was fantastic, we took bicycles and thoroughly enjoyed the harbour and coastal tracks.

A comfortable apartment within walking distance of bars and restaurants. Nicole is an excellent and thoughtful host and we highly recommend the apartment.

Beautiful location, stunning views from the balcony! We were even joined by 6 rainbow lorikeets when we arrived. The flat was spotless, easy to access and Brent was a responsive host. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Morna Magic! It was our first family holiday with our 5month old. The place was private clean and equipped with all amenities. Location was a stones throw away from the beautiful Birubi Beach and Tomaree National Park Trail making it easy without taking pram etc. Mark was proactive and responsive with all communications. Will definitely come again!

Such a wonderful stay! Perfect location to take in beach walks, kiosk stops, wine breaks and incredible natural sights. Janet was an incredible host that gave us tips for the area and responded super quickly when the bluetooth speaker wasn't working, and rectified it with a new speaker within minutes. Everything was done discreetly and although the accomodation is next to the main house, it is absolutely private. The accomodation itself has the highest quality finishes and details, with the bathroom and kitchen the equivalent to what you would. build for yourself if you had a handsome budget. A washer/dryer and dishwasher were added bonuses as were the provisions for a quick breakfast and afternoon drink. The view from the balcony was better than the photos and even though it was Winter we were able to sit out and take in the morning sun. Can't recommend this accomodation enough!

We absolutely loved Annie’s house! We had a peaceful and relaxing stay along with our 2 kittens. The pantry is fully stocked with essentials. It’s 2 mins drive to town proper where Woolworths is. It’s 10 mins drive to salamander shopping centre where you can find Kmart, Aldi, Woolworths etc. it’s 11 mins drive to sand dune where all tourist activities are located such as sand boarding and camel riding. Beach is super close too! If you’re looking for a relaxing and affordable place, this is the place to be!

Clare's place is at a prime location, especially if you have dogs, the dog beach is right there. The property = lifestyle + living, great area downstairs for a BBQ and games. Place was neat and tidy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Marcus and Helen's property. The decor is absolutely lovely—thoughtfully chosen and welcoming, creating a real home-away-from-home vibe. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked with everything we needed, including quality crockery and utensils. The furniture throughout the house was very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day out. On top of all that, the location was ideal—peaceful yet close to everything we wanted to see and do. Highly recommended!

Richard was a fantastic host! The accommodation was comfortable, and in a great location. It is a very family-friendly place, with everything we needed to feel right at home. Communication was smooth and easy throughout our stay. I truly felt welcomed and would highly recommend this place to anyone, especially families, visiting the area. Robert's place is really delightful, perched high on the western hill of Dungog only 10 minutes walk from the main street and with a perfect east/north aspect and view over the valley. Waking to thousands of birds in the dawn chorus with the low sun pouring in and the mist-laden valley below was way better than expected. Being a fellow bird lover i felt right at home, and the slow combustion stove meant the house was as warm as you could want on a cold Winter's night and morning.

Such a great and central location to Shoal Bay. The home was perfect for our stay and had everything we needed.

Jaymie was an absolute dream host! The house was immaculately clean and stunningly beautiful. We loved every detail, from the decor to the thoughtful touches throughout. The welcome present was such a lovely surprise - so thoughtful and made us feel instantly at home. The space accommodated us perfectly, and we felt right at home. This place was incredible! This holiday unit was beautiful, clean, ocean view, spacious and with all the amenities available including the pool and gym- I could not recommend this place enough. Lorraine was nice and really easy to communicate with, Thankyou for letting us stay at your place 😊

Perfect for a weekend or even long term getaway. Location was great, right in the heart of the city, 5-mins walk to a couple local pubs, cafes and convenience stores and 15-mins walk to beach and light rail interchange. Also noticed quite a few buses with different bus routes around the area as well. Check in was a breeze and not that I had any issues but Mel was quick to reply once I had advised check in and check out. The place itself was fantastic, ducted air con throughout, 2 very big comfy beds, large lounge area and huge dining area with a kitchen that had what you need to cook for a large group of people, if you wished. Having access to a washing machine and dryer is always a plus, esp. when there’s a 2nd toilet and the bathroom was clean as well. Would definitely look to stay there again if going back up to Newcastle.

We had a wonderful stay at Adam's place. Loved the large deck - great for kids and adults alike. Everything was as per the description and photos on the website. It is a lovely open plan space. Everything you might need is within walking distance supermarket, bakery, Cafe, Golf Club. Playgrounds and of course the beach and river. Hawks Nest is a beautiful place we will be back.

The apartment and the amenities are outstanding. We returned here because we had to extend staying away from our house because of renovations. This was our first choice and u cannot recommend it enough. What really does need highlighted is how much of an outstanding history Connie is. She was so understanding, compassionate, super friendly and flexible. She deserves 10 stars.

Perfect little stay for the long weekend. House had everything we needed, and it was convenient to walk along backyard through along the waterways.

Absolutely incredible views! I’ve recommend this place to friends and family, very clean and can not fault it at all. Grant was a pleasure to deal with! definitely would book again 🙂
