Beautiful spot in the woods! Easy to drive into town and to spots to explore around the island, and a comfortable retreat to come back to with a campfire at the end of the day.

We were here for my partners birthday and we had a cozy night watching movies and hanging out in the hot tub. Neighbors are near but the tall fences help you feel like you're more isolated than you are. The actual house was very well stocked with anything you can need for cooking or eating "at home." Thank you!

Place was great, beautiful scenery and beautiful lights all around. The inside was clean and all prepared. No issues, and the host Cierra was very helpful with anything we needed. And very private and nice to be to get away from the city and enjoy the nature Washington has to offer.

My mom and I had a very relaxing time at this cabin. We loved it from the moment we came in! It’s cozy, clean and I love the overall location, as it’s very close to mountain Rainier, and not far from a town where you can buy groceries, etc.. The jacuzzi was a big plus. The Host has rules that we all as guests should follow to have a more pleasant experience, please follow those rules…. The toilet was a unique experience but it works… Overall we enjoyed this beautiful place..

I recently stayed at the ranger outpost and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location was peaceful and secluded, offering just the right balance of nature and comfort. The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. I really enjoyed the vibe of this place! We loved all the amenities especially the hot tub and out door fire pit. The coffee bar was an amazing added bonus. Also amazing location that is close to Mt Rainier’s Nisqually park entrance! Thank you so much for helping me make my nieces graduation gift so special. I would 1000% recommend this cabin for anyone looking for an amazing outdoor experience.

we really enjoyed our stay! we loved watching the fishing action on the lake. we paddle boarded and hiked the forest nearby with our hound. the hot tub was fun in the misty fog the first night and the sun shined the rest of the weekend. totally recommend

We loved staying at Sword Fern Cabin. The house was so comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable! We loved the location and were able to explore and swim. This is the perfect house for the Lake Cushman area!

The property is private and serene. The creek was wonderful to sit by in the mornings with a cup of coffee to get your day started. Tons of hiking trails nearby that provide beautiful views and a nice challenge. The surroundings are top notch with beautiful mountains and forests everywhere you look. Will definitely spend time here again when we are back in the area. The hosts are helpful and communicative. Would recommend to other potential guests.

Super cute and cozy, about 40 minutes from Olympia and 10 minutes from Shelton. Nice cozy neighborhood for dog walking, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was just what we were looking for and comfortable and clean, we had no complaints!!

Beautiful cottage on the water! The surroundings are very peaceful. Nice to watch the tides. the kitchen was well outfitted includingna gas range and teapot! Loved it, thanks, Erin!

We loved our experience at The Nest. Lots of blankets and pillows and it was overall very comfortable. Claire left us some gift certificates for local cafes which we used and appreciated. She was very responsive to all of my questions and requests for recommendations. Super private and quiet. Our dog was welcome and very happy there. One note, be sure to bring insect repellent if you plan to use the fire pit (which we did and loved!)

This was the perfect get away cabin! It’s just far enough out of the cities to feel secluded but close to enough to not feel like it’s a constant commute to do anything. The cabin was extremely well stocked and a very comfortable stay. Every evening was perfect with the deck and views to settle down for the night. I hope to be able to come again soon!

Perfect for a girls trip! Tricky to find in the dark which tells you how private the space feels! It’s a good 15 minutes to the nearest store which is exactly what we wanted. Host was proactive with communication and ensuring we had what we needed.

This was such a lovely place to spend our honeymoon. Surrounded by nature in every direction, waking up to birds chirping and a beautiful lake view. There were so many small details, from extra toothbrushes and a blow dryer in the bathroom to twinkle lights on the patio for a romantic evening outside. Jordyn was so responsive and helpful! Tom's Little Gemma cabin is wonderful, and just what I needed. It was quiet and peaceful and provided the perfect spot for my little sabbatical retreat. The table was a great workspace with a view of the green, grassy meadow with wildflowers popping up here & there. Sitting on the deck I saw a variety of birds taking a dip in the birdbath or nibbling on a local plant. The cabin is so cozy and comfortable! I loved sitting in the comfy chair reading my book and enjoyed a few naps as well. The cabin and the bathroom were both clean and the little fridge allowed me to pick up a few groceries for the week, which was great. Tom was a great host and was always available if I needed him. Even with a small question, he responded quickly and was so helpful. I will definitely stay at Little Gemma again. Thanks for a great week, Tom!

It’s a must if you are looking for a peaceful family getaway! Our family really enjoyed the beautiful views, open windows, spacious patio, kayaks and wildlife. The property was very clean, with clear and detailed instructions. Definitely returning for a longer stay!

Tucked away on Abbi’s property is a wonderful, peaceful, beautiful getaway. Wether its for a couples romance or a family vacation (like mine), it just hits the spot. There’s literally everything you need here. From phone chargers to coffee, to farm fresh eggs. We did add ons consisting of fresh cinnamon rolls and a family photoshoot. She literally came bright and early, donning the biggest smile and the most epic looking delicious cinnamon rolls you have ever seen. They were still warm from the oven. The perfect “cake” for my husband’s birthday morning. She took photographs for our family and was so sweet to my two toddler boys. She really caught the best of them, raw emotion, beautiful stills of a priceless time in our lives. We will treasure those forever. We had the best, most comfortable time in this gorgeous cabin just outside of the city and tucked away to perfection. Thank you, Abbi! We will be back! Take care 💜
