Comfy beds, living room sectional pulls out to queen hide a bed, 32 acres, horseback riding (sm. fee)*, winter fun, & fishing pond. First 2 guests pay base price, then 3rd thru 10th guests pay an extra 30.00 EACH. NO PARTIES on our farm. We live on property in a separate home. Enjoy the 2 mile walking trail that meanders through the exquisite 60 acres of secluded woods and pristine prairie. Just a one minute walk away is a beautiful 1 acre pond with canoe. Overlooking a small, organic, sustainable hobby farm, it is located just 4 miles north of Fairfield Iowa, where Oprah visited and declared it to be "America's most unusual town". Your place to relax and recharge.

Winery - Vineyard Rustic Cabin

The Cabin is located on the site of Wooden Wheel Vineyards and Winery. For over 80 years this building served as a summer kitchen and wood shed for the main house, which was removed in the 60's. It was turned into a weekend cabin in the 90's and remodeled for your enjoyment in 2018. On site you can enjoy free wine tasting and a tour of the vineyard and winery. If the urge strikes you, you can have some R&R by helping out in the vineyard. Or, just take a walk back to our pond/timber.

The Milk House at Lucky Star Farm

The Milk House is a unique space located in the countryside, between Iowa City and Kalona. This 700 square foot home has ample parking and room for four adults. The house is well appointed with a full kitchen, two luxurious queen beds, wifi and a Smart TV. Guests are invited to explore our 20-acre working farm with lots of livestock and two friendly dogs. It's a perfect blend of rural living with the perks of beautiful Iowa City 15 minutes away. Come unwind at Lucky Star Farm!
