Spacious apartment, old world charm

Our open-space apartment is full of charm and character. From the Spanish-tiled private entry to the footed tub shower, you will experience a unique feeling. Enjoy the nearby vibrant restaurant scene as well as the rooftop deck with its harbor view! The ceilings are low in a couple spots and could be a challenge for folks who are especially tall. My boyfriend is 6'4" and has learned to adapt! It may be something to consider. House noises travel in this old home, so it can be a factor for some.

Bottom level overlooks a hill with unparalleled views of San Diego Bay, Point Loma, Old Town, etc. and includes a private deck. Guests access home via set of 12 stairs next to garage. Our home is located within minutes of San Diego's best visitor attractions. Right from our balcony, you can see SeaWorld, Point Loma, the Harbor and so much more. A 10 minute walk and you are in historic Old Town with some of the best Mexican restaurants in town. Or pull your car out of the garage and take a quick ride to Gaslamp, Mission beach, Pacific beach, La Jolla, Hillcrest and the list goes on. In December 2020 we installed NEW CENTRAL A/C SYSTEM so our guests always stay comfortable.

*We are Covid-19 aware! We have taken extra precautions--sanitizing all surfaces possible, including remote controls, door handles, light switches, etc... after each visit! And we open all the windows to aerate before the next guests! One bedroom granny flat, separate entrance with off street parking for midsize car or smaller. Three blocks to the beach. Located at the edge of downtown OB close to all restaurants and night life. Centrally located to all main San Diego attractions.

Best Location!!! Walk to all! Take the trolley, Uber! & Free gated one space parking. Please read the reviews! You'll love it too! It's Central & well furnished & a fully equipped kitchen. The Casita is a roomy, bright & comfortable duplex with a large lighted private patio/BBQ & free parking. Transit Center is a 6 minute walk, where you can pickup the city MTS trolley, or trains. Serene San Diego Canyon Getaway

Our cozy studio-style guest house perched above a tree-filled canyon is a serene getaway in the center of San Diego, just a few minutes' drive to all local attractions and most of our other institutions (colleges, universities, hospitals). The casita is comfortable for two or a small family, with full kitchen capacity to prepare at-home meals. Our weather here is temperate, but if the weather gets hot, we have a silent mini-split A/C unit to cool the casita as needed.
