In the fall, it's surrounded by peaking foliage. The chalet is walking distance to Cannon Mountain and a 5-minute drive to Echo Lake Beach and endless trailheads in Franconia Notch. The Getaway Chalet is a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom, family-friendly house close to Cannon Mountain in Franconia. The perfect destination for all seasons, it's nestled in the mountains, a 4-minute drive from the ski resort. Cross-country trails are adjacent. Easy access to the state's most beautiful hiking and mountain biking, as well as swimming at Echo Lake and nearby golf. Three levels including a downstairs playroom, large yard, and front porch with the music of a babbling brook down the hill.

The home is easily accessible year round (no trucks or 4WD needed) has snowmobile trail access, and is minutes away from Bretton Woods Resort, and within 20 minutes to Loon and Cannon. Pinestead is one of NH's oldest working family farms, with roots going back to 1793. The 'Milk Rooms' is one of 4 private guest units within our 1852 farmhouse. Named for the room where the farm's cream separator once stood, it offers 3 bedrooms, a kitchenette & private bath. Pinestead is simple, rustic & imperfect—not a polished “farmhouse-style” getaway. Tasseltop Cottage in Sugar Hill

Our guest house, affectionately known as the “shanty” is located in a very private setting on our property in Sugar Hill. We are located about 25 minutes from the Brenton Woods Ski area and also Loon Mountain ski area. Cannon Mountain is about a 15 minute drive. Our property abuts the Toad Hill Farm wedding venue and is a 5 minute drive from the cottage. The Bishop Farm wedding venue is about 12 minutes away.
