Our Beach House is close to the mouth of the Connecticut River surrounded by the salt marsh and at the end of our street you can see Old Saybrook lighthouses. Quaint local towns, two major shopping outlets and award winning casinos. Close to Gillette Castle, Mystic Seaport and the Coast Guard Academy. Lots of restaurants serving up local fare. Beautiful beaches, theater, music, and a variety of activities (kayaking, hiking, bird watching). Many museums in both directions on I-95 and I-91.

Beachside community, 3 blocks to Beach. Several restaurants and convenience stores within easy walking distance. Could be a great vacation for those without a car, 10 minutes to Old Saybrook Amtrak station, everything you need is nearby and / or easily walkable. We had a wonderful weekend stay at Eileen's beautiful waterfront home. The view from the living room and primary bedroom of the water was so peaceful. The kitchen was well appointed and the cozy living room made for a wonderful family gathering spot when we weren't dining out at the fabulous nearby restaurants, visiting wineries, or viewing local scenery. Eileen was incredibly responsive to small questions we had. We would definitely book again!!

Loved the house. Amazing little community with a gorgeous beach just a short walk away. Thoughtfully stocked with so many supplies, which was unexpected. Lots of seating. My partner and I agreed the beds were possibly the most comfortable we’ve slept on, ha! Would definitely stay here again.

Our first ever stay at 'Hop Skip and Jump' really met all of our expectations and needs for the week of 8/10-8/17/24! I have never in my 70+ years of spending a summer week in Old Lyme been so enveloped with 5 star luxury while at the Beach! I would recommend this rental to any small family or a group of girlfriends! Hop

Peter's beach house was the perfect extended weekend getaway with our family. It was the first time we took a family vacation with our small children and teenager. The little kids loved the top bunk in their room and my teenager loved having a room to herself. The kitchen was perfect for our needs, the kids loved the sunroom and the living room was great with the tv for nighttime relaxing. The walk to the beach was the perfect length and the beach was clean and open. We loved every moment at the beach house and are hoping to return next year.

Fantastic Airbnb. Felt like we were staying at a well taken care of and beautifully furnished home of a friend. Nice art, interesting books, comfy and attractive furniture. The whole house was well furnished. There was a lovely snack basket with fresh fruit, bars, French bread, and delicious local cheese to welcome us. Well stocked kitchen- high quality cookware, lots of cooking basics (spices, etc). But, on top of it all, there was wonderful living space- two full well appointed living rooms each with their own amazing view (one of trees, the other of the pond), a large comfortable yet elegant dining room, a big open concept kitchen with a breakfast table, perfect to do a puzzle, play games or have a quick bite. Plenty of room for our party of 10 adults. Beds were comfy, master suite beyond expectation in size and comfort. Great local market for sandwiches/cookies/coffee. Lovely, local CT beach full of shells. Very responsive host. Stay at this airbnb! Even more beautiful in person.
