In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). There is a floor space unique to the Japanese-style room, and there is also a space called "ma" designed in the living space, where you can decorate and enjoy seasonal flowers and trees. We can bring you a hot breakfast every morning if you want. You can use the kitchen to cook meals. Cooking utensils and basic seasonings (oil, salt, pepper) are provided. Enjoy BBQ in the garden (barbecue grill, charcoal, rental 1,500 yen) If you'd like authentic Japanese food, we can arrange pick-up and drop-off We can also make reservations.
