Yadokari

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The house has two bedrooms upstairs with three double and three single beds. Downstairs there is a toilet-bath-shower room and a separate shower room with access from outside. The single large room downstairs comprises kitchen, dining and sitting room and from there and the back deck which has a picnic table, there are stunning views across the grass to the coral lagoon and ocean beyond. It is a short hop across the grass to the beach.

You can feel a nice breeze sitting on the balcony and see islands. It takes around 2 hours from Naha airport by car. You can visit the ruins of Nakijin Castle which is 10 min. away. There is a beautiful beach in 8 min. on foot. It takes about 20 min. to aquarium, and 25 min. to Kouri island by car. There are convenience stores and supermarket near there. It's perfect place to get away from busy city life. And it's very convenience for sightseeing in northern area of Okinawa island.

Kookai (空海)means sky and sea, and it is also the name of a famous buddhist monk who created Koya-san. We wanted a big terrasse between the sky and the sea, in a very quiet area, in nature, to enjoy calm and serenity. The house is the last one before the sea, with a tropical garden in front. From the porch, you have a view on the garden and Nosoko mount behind and behind the house there is a jungle, with a path going down to a small secret beach.
