Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Okeechobee County

Very nice home away from home. Had everything needed. The home was very clean. Would definitely come back again. Enjoyed fishing the lake. Recommend a guide if you have not ever fished this lake before. We wish we would have gotten the guide day one instead of our final day. No regrets though still had a great time!

Dollar Bill, Fantastic place, roomy, clean and Tiki Bar is so great, boat lift, awesome grill, watched College hoops sitting in the bar, while fishing off the dock, feeding the turtles , watching and listening to 2 fledgling Great Blue Herons getting nudged out of the nest, nature here is awesome. Don’s place is a fisherman’s dream! He was very flexible and responsive when I had questions about his rental. Super easy check-in, very clean house, and nice area to stay in. Plenty of room for your truck and boat. I would highly recommend booking! We plan to be back!

We recently stayed at this Airbnb near Lake Okeechobee for a fishing trip, and it was exactly what we needed. The place was spotless, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable after long days out on the water. The bed was cozy, and all the amenities were just as described. It was clear the hosts put a lot of care into making the space welcoming and functional. The location was fantastic — just a short drive to the lake, which made early mornings super convenient. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area, especially if you’re planning to fish or just want a peaceful, relaxing getaway!

Curtis is an excellent host always responsive and proactive. The studio was adorable, very peaceful and the neighborhood was very comforting. I highly recommend this location if you like privacy and nice time to set and reflect with nature around you . Cool little place . Not fancy but very comfortable. Set up very well for cooking meals & being self sufficient.
