Monthly Rentals in Okains Bay

Located in stunningly beautiful landscape of Banks peninsula, Rebecca and Neil’s place was a perfect place to rest and experience nature and sea life. I wish I had had more time to explore the area. I particularly appreciated their helpfulness and the breakfast with fresh fruits from the garden.

Rose Cottage is my "go to" air bnb in Akaroa. Surrounded by bush and birdsong, it's charming. Very private yet walking distance to the village. Clean and inviting, and not too much personal clutter which we really appreciated. We were toasty warm with the heatpump & there's a fire we could have lit too, but chose not to. Lucy was quick to contact us, and really helpful. It's the perfect Akaroa cottage for 2-4 guests.

This stay was outstanding in every way. Initially there was a state of emergency, and the roads were closed due to flooding and slips. We couldn't travel on the day booked but Annabel messaged that the next day should be fine. The next morning there was still a state of emergency. Annabel messaged that the roads were almost clear, though still officially closed, the sun was shining, and people were travelling through with no problem. She said just come whenever you are ready, that she was crediting the first night, and we were welcome to stay another night at no charge. Longish story we got there no trouble, and it was so so worth it. What an amazing place. The view is sensational, the accommodation itself just delightful, beautifully designed and fitted out, and everything you could want there. Sparkling clean. Lots of thoughtful touches. The walks are wonderful. We can't speak highly enough of it and can't wait to go back.

We had such a wonderful stay at Phoebe’s cottage. This was the perfect place to unwind and relax, and the bath overlooking the hills was wonderful. The lovely touch of fresh eggs and bubbles made for an even more relaxing getaway.
