Holiday rentals with breakfast in Oita

Casa muito bonita e limpa, com excelente vista da montanha. Chuveiros ótimos. O dono opera uma cafeteria no primeiro andar, o que é muito conveniente no café da manhã. Takao san deu ótimas sugestões de passeios locais e ficou muito feliz em receber nossa família, inclusive nosso cachorro!

The hospitality and food were off the charts! The food was unexpectedly incredible and the best meals we experienced on our three week trip. OKUMA and his wife were perfect hosts. It felt like a homestay. The accommodation is traditional and simple and the somewhat remote location is a perfect respite from the hectic cities. We walked up into the hills and around the island and travelled to Saiki and Oita.

Our stay with Kaoru-san and her wonderful family was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! She was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our entire stay, always available to answer questions, recommendations and provide assistance whenever needed. The location was a peaceful haven that allowed us to truly unwind and relax. Waking up to the serene surroundings each morning and with home cooked, delicious breakfast set the perfect tone for our days. One of the highlights was definitely the amazing food! Everything was delicious and beautifully prepared by Kaoru-san - a real treat for the taste buds. Whether it was local specialties or comfort classics, each meal was exceptional. As vegetarians, these meals have by far been the best dining experience throughout our weeks in Japan. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described in the listing—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. What truly made the experience special were the hosts. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and generous, making us feel right at home. A highlight of the stay was the wonderful barbeque service they offered—it was delicious and added a warm, personal touch to the visit. This place has the most amazing view! The location is up in the hills overlooking the city. I'd stay somewhere like this over any hotel. The place was super clean, the beds were very comfortable, the room with the rocking chair with giant windows overlooking the bay was my favorite. This place is so unique, the walls are made from coffee beans and leaves, the restaurant downstairs is adorable. The hosts were such lovley people, they made us breakfast in the morning that was so good and they sat and visited with us, we felt at home. This is a great place, if you're looking for a break from the crowds. We rented a car at Beppu Station and it worked out great. Highly recommend staying here!

Great location. Just a 5 minute walk from Yufuin Station. Property is as described. Beautiful view from the second floor. We had our dinner at the Italian restaurant owned by the host and it was delicious and so with the complimentary breakfast. We will definitely book again this property when we return to Yufuin soon. A lovely fantastic house, which lands in a quiet place near Tateno. Bill and Akio are both nice and friendly. They helped me as much as they could. I do really enjoy a wonderful holiday here and look forward to come back again next year.

Fantastic place to stay at Yufuin. Highly recommended to all who drive. I must say the host was great and the service excellent. Breakfast was marvellous Will return to stay there the next time I am back in Kyushu

Thank you so so so much 千香子さん！My mum and I had the most wonderful time at your house! Words can’t describe how much we loved staying at Chikakosans house. The location was gorgeous, in a rural area with fields and farmland all around. Very quiet and peaceful. It was easy to find, with a spacious area to park in front of the house. Chikakosan also showed us an amazing 800 year old ginkgo tree and natural water spring nearby. Dinner and breakfast were honestly the best meals we have ever had, fresh local ingredients and so generous in amount and variety. We loved every bite, so delicious! Chikakosans husband also made us great coffee. The house was so pretty too, warm timber, lovely tatami flooring, and we had a very comfortable sleep. Everything was clean and so nice. I particularly enjoyed chatting with Chikakosan about tea and food! We didn’t want to leave, and hopefully we can return one day. Thanks again!!!!
