It was the first trip for three generations. My parents and children were all satisfied. I booked family rooms 1-3, and the floors were divided, so I rested comfortably in an independent space, and we gathered on the first floor to talk and brought food to eat. There is also a small hot spring nearby, and there is a mart in the nearby U-me town, so I had a good stay without any inconvenience. The location is also great for visiting nearby attractions.

I booked it with confidence because the Korean owner said it was operated. I rested so comfortably for 3 nights. He asked me how I was doing every morning and asked if there were any inconveniences. I was touched by the thoughtful consideration. They also prepared an electric mat, so I stayed warmly. I also prepared a separate bath basket, so I was able to go to Haemunsa Hot Springs every evening within a 3-minute walk! It was also really convenient to be able to park right in front of the accommodation!! You kept it really clean. Your mother loved it! It was right in front of Baebu Tower, so the night view was also really nice. I'll visit again next time.! I've been to Japan many times, but when I had a problem, they answered me right away, so I traveled without worry. I've never traveled so comfortably before. It's really the best accommodation ^ ^♡

Maki&Toru are very helpful host. We encountered an incident during the stay, Maki&Toru helped us to find the police so we resolved the issue smoothly. The house located in a quiet and private place. The outdoor onsan in the house with a starry night was enjoyable.

The house is very spacious and has all the amenities. Especially the kitchen is very good. There is an onsen to soak in. The house is private. Very good for families. There are convenience stores and supermarkets. The mattress is very comfortable if you have the opportunity to stay again.

The view here is breathtaking. If you're looking to get away from the crowds this is the perfect place! My son and I stayed here, we walked the shoreline and found beach glass, shells, driftwood, and bamboo, we loved it so much. The house is so comfortable and large. We had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. There is a large tub with a big window overlooking the bay, it was so relaxing. We cracked the sliding door to hear the waves at night, it was the best. The hosts are amazing people, so kind and thoughtful, they had breakfast food in the refrigerator for us and juice & milk. We ate at a tonkatsu place down the road that was great! If you have a chance to stay here, book it! There are also two ponies on the property that are adorable. We had such a wonderful stay here, thank you for letting us spend the night in your beautiful place.💜🌊 Oh, and the night view of the city across the bay is SO BEAUTIFUL!

[Suggested treasure homestay | This is how the ideal place should be!]✨ The luckiest thing about this trip was to book this immortal house!The degree of thoughtfulness of the host made me wonder if I was their "baby girl" —— I received a surprise when I opened the door on the day of check-in: a super large sliced sashimi platter!Salmon is rich in fat flavor, sweet shrimp fresh bounce teeth, instantly healed the tiredness of the journey. The location of the B&B is also very convenient!It is a 5-minute walk from the bus stop that connects you to various places, making it super convenient to go to attractions and shopping districts.When we didn't know which bus to take, the host returned the information in seconds, not only giving the most cost-effective route, but also a pizza restaurant that had to be packed along the way. If you have an international driver's license, there is also a spacious parking lot. The most unforgettable was the night of the stay, the host's uncle drove us to the local's favorite supermarket with a seven-seater car.When the snow patterns and cow captives in the freezer were full group taste buds, I asked, "If there was an oven," I didn't expect the host to say, "I have a charcoal fire oven in my yard!" At that moment, I finally understood what was called the "homestay ceiling" - the roasted A5 and the cattle, blowing the evening breeze, the family gathered together, and the feeling of happiness burst. To say the treasure of the town store, it is a private hot spring!The indoor soup pool is cleverly surrounded by bamboo hedges, sipping soda while soaking in the warm, weak alkaline hot spring. Climb up to the balcony on the second floor early in the morning and look out to the sea from afar. At the time of departure, the host insisted on driving us to the high-speed bus station and waved goodbye until it was confirmed that everyone was seated safely.In the rear-view mirror, he stands under the bus stop card, and I suddenly understand: the real homestay soul is to pet every guest to the child who is home ~

A lovely place about 20 minutes drive from Saiki. Highlights were: incredible sashimi (saiki is known for its fish); local onsens (one of them over looking the sea with salt water); hiking in the surroundings and on the nearby island. I would recommend coming with a car as the bus service is fairly infrequent. However the family very kindly took time to drive us around to the places we wanted to visit. Highly recommend!

The hospitality and food were off the charts! The food was unexpectedly incredible and the best meals we experienced on our three week trip. OKUMA and his wife were perfect hosts. It felt like a homestay. The accommodation is traditional and simple and the somewhat remote location is a perfect respite from the hectic cities. We walked up into the hills and around the island and travelled to Saiki and Oita.

What a find this was! Fusako was an excellent host. Communication was easy (Fusako is fluent in English). We hired a car from Hakata and drove here easily using the address in the car sat nav. The accommodation was very comfortable in an old farm building. We booked the meal option which was an excellent decision! Seeing a previous review, we asked if it was possible to have the vegetarian meal plan - no problem. The food was absolutely delicious and used local produce e.g shitake mushrooms. It was a highlight of our trip. We did some hiking close by - plenty of walking within a few minutes. We will be back! Fusako even helped me order some flowers online to deliver to my Japanese friend we had just visited. Thank you Fusako-san!

A farmhouse in a rural location with shrines and temples nearby. Local onsens and cherry blossom. We had great practice making fires in our wood fired heater - very cosy. The host cooked us a delicious home-cooked dinner of local specialities and also gave us some of her homemade plum wine - oishi desu yo!

The host who can speak Korean answered quickly, so I stayed very comfortably. If you open the kitchen window, you can see Beppu Tower and the sea a little:)

We were welcomed by Itou-san spouse, who was really friendly and helpful throughout all the process, making me and my friends feel really welcome at the house. We were gladly surprised by the apartment, it was neatly prepared and bigger than it seemed in the pictures. The place is well equipped and Itou-san even prepared a map with recommended restaurants and onsens at the area. It was a great stay!

The B&B overall is great!Have your own parking space ~ Even if the eight-seater big car also has an outdoor parking lattice to use ~ no worries at all!We are going to travel in March ~ It's warm in the homestay ~ The environment is also very clean!The bed is also quite comfortable!If I have the opportunity to travel to Beppu again in the future ~ I will definitely stay again!The point is that the owner of the homestay is very kind ~ I often ask if I need help!It was really good! This is our second stay, we were staying in a neighbouring apartment previously. As always, Tony (co-host) has been very responsive and helpful, especially with our questions on luggage forwarding. Thank you! The building itself is old but the apartment is value-for-money. Large space for Japanese standards, along with a well-equipped kitchen to prepare your own meals. There are several restaurants within walkable distance, a nearby bus stop + Lawson convenience store 1 min away. It takes around 15 min to get to Beppu station by bus. Note: It does get cold during winter and you'll get a gasoline stove.

Grate location,close to the station . Very clear in-house equipment instructions . Nice stay in Yufuin.

Great place to stay in Beppu. The host gives us all valuable information, like restaurant and onsen nearby the place. I would come back again :)
