A property that had been vacant for about 3 years in the "Kami-Miyazu" area, which boasts countryside scenery and is about a 10-minute drive from the center of Miyazu, was renovated into a private rental accommodation. It is 10 minutes to the sea, 15 minutes to Amanohashidate, and 45 minutes to Ine no Funaya. It is not a particularly beautiful facility, but you can spend a relaxing time unique to the area. Basically, we don't serve food, but if you'd like, you can book a breakfast onigiri set at the nearby onigiri cafe, which is limited to our facility (for a fee) We can also introduce you to local people, BBQ, harvesting experiences, e-bike tours in the area, and more. Please check with me in advanced. BBQ is also available for rent as a set for ¥2,200. (Chairs, stove, charcoal, lighter, from preparation to cleaning up) Food is not included. Please bring your own. We do not allow BBQs outside of rentals. In the garage, in addition to BBQ, you can do bicycle and motorcycle maintenance without getting wet from the rain. You can store it in a locked building, so you can travel around Tango with peace of mind. Parking is available right behind the facility.

An old private house surrounded by rivers and forests, limited to one group per day. Here, you can enjoy your stay, surrounded by sound, fire, water and stars. The music room has a grand piano, drums, guitar, and bass. Bake authentic Neapolitan pizzas in the pizza oven, and in the evening, enjoy BBQ and a campfire while gazing at the starry sky and the Milky Way. In summer, you can play in the water in the nearby river and relax in nature in a tent sauna (rental). We cooked together in the fully equipped kitchen of the former café, Reading quietly in the library, You can spend your "favourite time" freely. The bath is a ceramic tub made of Shigaraki ware. We have 2 kids and 1 cat living in the house. so if you have any allergy, please tell us beforehand.we will bring cat to another house.

Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts.
