this villa was an outstanding value. aweaome location on the bourbon trail. was perfect weekend for my girlfriend and i to unwind and relax while enjoying distillery tours and shopping. the hot tub was wonderful at the end of the day. we will definitely be back. thank you john.

Jason's place was brand new, well furnished, and perfect for two couples and kids. It is not too far from many restaurants and I would definitely book his home again in the future!

It was a super nice stay for my friend and I. We booked this last minute, but it was so beautiful. Brian was very helpful with the check-in process, and everything was easy to find inside. The hot tub was really nice, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Would 100% come back again.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The pictures online don’t do this place justice, it was gorgeous inside and out. It was kid friendly/ private and had everything we needed. Brian was great; let us get inside a few minutes early when we arrived. We will definitely be back!

Great clean cabin. TV controls took a little to figure out but who wants to watch TV when you can be outside with grill and chairs around the firepit.

This is such a great place for families who have kids and for adults, on their own. The view is spectacular! There are tons of activities: at the house, in the community and broader area. I especially appreciated the hot tub after the 17-mile bike ride on the Virginia Creeper Trail from Abingdon to Damascus. The kitchen is well supplied and will satisfy most home chefs. It is amazingly clean, especially considering pets are permitted. We look forward to future stays!

Beautiful, spacious home. Had the amenities that were listed. Will need to bring shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and extra rolls of toilet paper, and this is listed in the details. The home was spotless and welcoming for our executive team retreat. How to instructions were provided and worked perfectly. Grateful for this opportunity to share dedicated time with my team in a space that allowed everyone to have personal space even when sharing a room. The bedrooms are enormous and lovely.

Very comfortable and clean home, the location is very private and peaceful. The host was quick and helpful with any questions we had, we would definitely stay again.

House was clean and comfortable. Pool was great in backyard and there were some pool noodles for kids to play with. Listing said Keurig for coffee maker but there was also a coffee pot in pantry which I wish I would have known about. Could use more silverware, but that’s a small thing. We felt the house was clean and great to stay at. There was a smell of what seemed like cigarette smoke upstairs which wasn’t ideal. We kept the overhead fans running in rooms and that seemed to help.

This was a beautiful place to stay. We loved the quiet, the serenity, and a great place to relax and rejuvenate! Everything was clean and very comfortable! They go the extra mile for their guests and if an opportunity arises, we will be back!

AMAZING home!! SUPER clean and beautifully decorated! The beds were very comfortable to sleep in. Bathrooms had mini shampoos which was great. The kitchen is fully stocked with dish ware, and there was even a fully stocked coffee bar with keurig, k-cups, tea, syrups, creamers, and even to-go cups! It was truly an amazing stay and would highly recommend this Airbnb and Tanya was super responsive!

This is a beautiful, historic, and impressive home. Our family took a weekend in the area and greatly enjoyed staying at Barr House Inn. The rooms were large, furnishings elegant, entrance impressive, and the location with a short drive to Lexington was helpful. An added benefit was the swimming pool with a deck and chairs/tables for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. All of the bedrooms, two of the bathrooms, as well as the kitchen were on the second floor, which made it easy for family gatherings. It was a great and enjoyable weekend at this historic home.

This home is in pristine condition. From the porch to the backyard pool, everything was neat, clean and in order. Check-in and out was a breeze. The host is very responsive and timely. There’s an informational booklet in the home of local restaurants, which was very helpful. This home is about one block from the Monon Trail. Also, one block from Broad Ripple. Cozy neighborhood. Plenty of clean linens and towels. The only thing that I wish were different, is being able to use the Jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. Other than that, this stay was absolutely perfect and well worth the cost.

Beautiful location, close proximity to the lake w/ a slip, clean and looks just like the photos on the site! Great space and our group loved it! This is our second booking in two years and if we have the group again, we would book this location again in second!

What a lovely place! My family was so comfy in this big, beautiful home. Lots of places for family hangout time, but plenty of room to spread out as well. Jessica and Kir have thought of everything...this place has it all. Our favorite hangs...the front porch, the sun room, and the pool of course. The kitchen has everything you could need for preparing family meals and plenty of seating for dining. The hosts greeted us at their property and provided us with all the details about how everything worked. They were super responsive and very knowledgeable of the area. We loved our stay and hope to visit again.

The host communicates very well and is very responsive and available. This historic mansion is a very unique and a great stay as long as you read all the information provided on the listing. Two bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom and you must walk through one to get to the other (not a Jack n Jill). Also described on the listing is that three bedrooms are in the basement and share one bathroom and you must walk through one to get to another. 5 bedrooms have king beds and en suite bathrooms and are very nice. It would be an ideal home to entertain, but there are very strict rules against that. We had a wonderful time and would rent again for sure.
